{Just a little author's note. I changed Iris's ex's name to Blake.}

"Let's do this!" Jack smirked. Looking down, I bit my bottom lip and glanced up at him.

"Then, we'll head out tomorrow." I lied. Nodding, he pecked my forehead and walked off. Shaking my head, I bit back tears. I couldn't do this to Jack. This was my problem, it doesn't concern him. I'll find Blake by myself. Sprinting off, I left my house and started to search. If I was correct, he was back at the old hideout in the trees. We had built it together with the help of our other friends. And he would always drag me there so we could get some privacy. Or it would be just to kiss. Either way, it was heavenly and I did miss it for over a year. Before I knew it, tears were streaming down my cheeks as I reentered our old hideout.

"Blake..." My finger brushed past the heart he carved into a tree that had our initials on it.

"Iris? What are you doing here?" It was Blake. Turning around, my eyes met his and I couldn't help it. More tears burst out as he walked over and brought his arms around me. I tore away from his hug and scooted away.

"Come here..." Walking over, he brought his arms around me again and I realized I was trembling.

"Get away!" I yelped.

"Hey, calm down... Shh... Don't cry." He cooed. His arms were secure around me and he rubbed my back.

"Why are you crying?" He whispered softly.

"Because this place brings back too many memories." I cried. I didn't know what was happening. Blake didn't seem like the evil person he was.

"Hey, don't cry." He wiped the tears away.

"Why are you being so kind? You almost killed Jacob and me a few days ago." I glared at him.

"What? I've been here for an entire year. I don't remember seeing you or your brother since you guys left." Blake blinked a couple of times, utterly confused. That made two of us.

"So if you weren't there, then who was posing as you!?" I exclaimed.

"How should I know?" Blake cocked an eyebrow.

"Oh whatever, we gotta go." I grabbed his hand and was about to fly us off when he stopped me.

"What's wrong?" I asked, turning back around.

"You know I am sorry we broke up right? I didn't know what I was doing. Are we still friends?" He was too ashamed to even look at me.

"There's nothing in this world that'll stop me from being your friend." Smiling, I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"You're as great as you always are." He tapped my nose playfully. Chuckling, I nudged him and we walked into our treehouse hideout for the night and memories flooded into my brain. Smiling, I walked into my old room and Blake chuckled.

-The Next Morning-

Yawning, I rolled out of my bed and groaned. Checking the clock, I saw that it was only three in the morning. Oh well, one hour extra hour of sleep is nice. Standing up shirtless, I strolled to my closet and I tugged on my sweater. Then, opening my window, I jumped out and flew around for a little bit. This had to be the best feeling in the entire world and I just felt infinite. After three hours of me being outside, I walked across the hallway to Iris's room and opened the door.

"Iris! Let's get going!" Entering her room, I looked around but she wasn't there. I tried finding her, but she was nowhere to be seen. Racing downstairs, I entered the kitchen where everyone was eating breakfast.

"Hey Jack, what's wrong? You seem worried." Ryan said.

"Have you guys seen Iris?" I asked frantically.

"No... But we found a letter addressed to you." Jacob tossed it to me. Ripping the letter open, my eyes scanned the letter.

Dear Jack,

Forgive me for lying to you. I didn't want to tell you in person because I would break down. Please don't get mad, I went off to find Blake by myself... Don't look around for me, you'll never find me. I'll return in three days time. ~Iris .xx

Turning around in my bed, I groaned. Looking around, I saw the blinding light coming in and rolled my eyes.

"Blake..." Moaning, I turned and tossed around on the bed. Entering the room, Blake rubbed his eyes.

"Let's head out for breakfast. I'm too lazy to cook." He yawned.

"Yeah... You're being your lazy little self." Chuckling, I changed my clothes and we walked to the city.

...

"I need to go. I need to find the identity thief. It'll help clear your name." Smiling, I was about to walk off when Blake grabbed my wrist, spun me around and kissed me. My eyes widened as his lips pressed against mine. After about a minute, I pulled apart and Blake looked down.

"I'm sorry." He muttered.

"It's- It's fine." I stuttered. Looking down, I bit my bottom lip and he glanced over at me. I know I said it was fine, but was it really?
