The rest of the car trip back to Eumundi was just listening to Ellie sing along to the radio. When we got home Ellie ran straight into the shower. I walked up to my room with Tye. "Thanks for coming today." I said softly. "But, I didn't cum?" He said back jokingly. "That is not what I meant!" I said back lightly punching him. "Haha, okay. Thanks for inviting me." He said back. "I felt like I got to know you a lot better today." I said. "Well we had fun, we spent time together and spending any time with anyone is learning new things." "I guess." I said back. When Ellie got out of the shower I rounded some clothes up. "Do you mind if I go shower?" I asked. "No, it's fine." He replied. "I have an Xbox if you wanna play it. The controller should be over on my desk." "Sounds like a plan." He said before I took off out of the room. I tried not to take too long but having salt and sand in all sorts of places the shower took a little bit longer than I expected.
I went back to my room and sat on the bed. "Have fun?" I asked. "I guess." He said back. "I've really gotta get going home Sky." "Oh." I said slightly disappointed. "I'll talk to you later?" He suggested. "Yeah, sure." I said back flashing a smile. "Alrighty." He said standing up and giving me a hug. I walked him out the the door and gave him one last hug before he left. "Thank you again for coming." I said. "I have already told you Sky, I didn't cum." "Tye." I said back irritated. "He started the engine and drove off leaving me standing on the footpath. I had a really good day, so I smiled and turned around walking back to my room. I sat on my bed and smiled again. He was great, he was amazing and he was so different to any other person I had met before. He was unique, he had his own sense of humour and knew just how to leave a smile on my face without even trying. I loved that. At that thought I suddenly got hungry so I went back down stairs to make a sandwich before disappearing to my room again to which I was swallowed by my laptop and tumblr.
The holidays were great. I saw my cousin, met (without meeting) a new person, spent time with Ellie and had an amazing day with Tye, but the only thing that was bothering me was the fact that after he left, he left something behind, not physically where I could see it, but etched in my mind. The more I thought about it the more it scared me because I wasn't sure but whatever this feeling was it wasn't hard to discover that these feelings were overwhelming, so once again like I do with every other confusing thought I shoved it to the side of my brain and opened up another book and explored the world of the wind and the Willows. The holidays were over and it was time to head back to hell, but I was excited for it, I was excited to see Tye. I was slowly getting happier again, and it felt like all my broken pieces were getting put back together again. When I arrived at school I was greeted happily by Kaili at the gate. "How was the date?" I asked her interested. "Eh, it was okay. He didn't buy me popcorn!" "Did you even ask for popcorn?" "No." She said back sadly. "Well that's why." I said. "Oh come on, you take your girlfriend to the cinema and don't get popcorn? That's just stupid. Like, I'm a girl, I like food." "Ha, okay then. Righto. I forgot you love food Kaili." "Exactly, anyway, how was the beach?" She asked. "Oh, well it was good." I said back softly. "Who did you take?" "Uhm, Tye." "Really? Was it like a date." She asked interested. "No!" "Okay chill." She said. We started walking through the school, we went to the oval and chilled there for the remainder of the morning. We sat on the grass and just talking. Both of us were picking up leaves and crushing them. "Haha, Sky, look at this." Kaili said holding up and oddly shaped leaf. "What's so funny about it?" I asked confused. She turned it upside down and said, "It looks like Miley Cyrus's Turkey leg ass." I then erupted into historically laughter. "Trust you to come up with that Kaili!" I said through tears. We laughed about that until the bell rang and we went to form.
The day and remainder of the week went just how I expected, full of work and home work. On Friday Tye told me too meet him Saturday after work. So Friday night, as I pulled back my blankets of my queen bed I set an alarm and went to sleep instantly. I was exhausted from my brain being over loaded with confusing thoughts. My alarm woke me up the next morning and I bounced out of bed in an instant. I couldn't put my finger on why, but I was excited to see him. I went and had a shower and then got dressed. I walked down stairs and walked to the door and just as I went to open it my mother said, "And where do you think you're going?" "To town." I replied. "Why?" She asked suspiciously. "I'm meeting a friend after work, is that okay?" She paused for a moment, looking at me with her tiny eyes. "When will you be back?" She asked. "No clue." I said. She looked outside. The rain was pouring down and the wind was howling. "I'd prefer you not to drive in this weather Skylar." She said. "But mum, I said I'd meet him." I complained. "No buts, you aren't driving in this." "Can you drive me? Please? Drop me off there?" I asked. "No." "Please mum, you either drive me or I drive myself, simple." She paused for a moment. "Please." I nagged. "Fine." She said irritated. "Go get in the car, I'll be out in a minute." "Thanks mum." I said with a grin on my face.
