Chapter 21

We went down the elevator to the car park and got in. "Tonight is going to get messy Sky." He said to me cautiously. "I know, that's the point." I said. "What if the room gets trashed." "I didn't think of that." I said concerned. "although I'm sure we'll be fine." Tye went in and bought the drinks, and I waited in the car, after we got the soft drinks, we headed home to a motel room that had music blasting from the inside. I opened the door and as It creaked open I saw Mason and Kaili dancing while Bailey was in the kitchen cooking and Camilla was sitting on a bar stool attempting to talk to him through the loud waves of music that was beating through the stereo. Tye went to put the box of spirits on the bench and I turned the music down. "Is there anything else you want? Because I'm about to pour a drink and I can't go out after." I said as everyone shook their heads. I poured myself a vodka and orange juice and we all sat down to a bowl of Satay Noodles and a glass of alcohol. After dinner I started on the dishes, letting out loud laughs to Mason and Tye's dancing. I had never seen something more entertaining. After the dishes were washed and put away, I joined the group in the lounge room with other drink. "Kings cup?" Camilla suggested. "I don't have any cards." I said to her. "No but Mason does." She said as everyone looked at him. "Fine." Mason let out as he walked into his bedroom to get the pack of cards. Tye walked into the kitchen and explored the cupboards trying to find the largest glass he could. When he returned with it he slammed it in the middle of the coffee table. "Ready?" He asked. "Just wait, we've gotta spread the cards around it first mate." Kaili said. "Yes!" Tye yelled. "You finally called me mate." "Oh don't get your hopes up." She said back sarcastically. "Who's going first." Bailey asked. It was the first time I had actually heard him say something to the whole group, he never said much to Kaili or Tye. "Well since Camilla suggested it, I think she should." I said. "Okay!" She said in her cute, high baby voice. She picked a card. "I got '2'." "What's that?" Mason asked. "2 is for you." Tye said. "You pick someone to drink. "Oh." Mason said. "Skylar, drink up." Camilla said to me. Next it was Bailey's turn. "Queen?" He said. "You're now the questionnaire. Therefore if you ask anyone a question of any sort, and they answer they have to drink." Tye explained again. "Whos go is it now?" Bailey asked. "Mine." I said. "Shit! I answered." I took a sip. "Bigger than that!" Tye exclaimed. I took a bigger sip. "Right, 8. Mate. Camilla drink!" I said. We played 3 rounds of that and that brought us to about nine o'clock. Mason was already gone, obviously a light weight, and the first time he had drunk, or at least enough to be heavily intoxicated. Camilla had stopped drinking, and Was dancing with a very intoxicated Kaili. Tye was over in the corner singing 'Gold Digger' by Kanye West as loud as he could and dancing. He must of slipped, because next thing we all new was he was on the floor. "Oh come on Tye! You're not even drunk!" I yelled out to him projecting my voice over the music. "There is an ice cube on the floor." He yelled back. "Uh huh." I said back as he got up. I turned back to talking to Bailey. He wasn't drunk, and he was only just tipsy, unlike me, who was extremely tipsy. "Is there anything I don't know about you?" I asked. "Not really." He said, but can I have your hand?" "Why?" I asked suspiciously. "Just trust me." He said as I passed him my hand. He held my hand in both hands. "Shut your eyes." He said to me. I followed his instructions, and he didn't say anything for a while. "Your dad." He said. "You were daddy's girl, he took you to the beach, and he was always away at work. You've been through hell, and you've had your heart broken. Haven't you?" "How?" I asked astonished. "That's my gift, I can get into people's brains, feel their emotions, pass mine, share their memories. It's not a super power, and it's not like twilight where Edward Cullen can read minds because I cannot do that, this is different." He said. I slowly pulled my hand away. "Aww." He said. "What?" I asked. "I wanted to hold you hand." "Oh." I said back slightly blushing as 'All About That Bass' came on. "Dance with me?" I suggested. "I don't dance Sky." "Why not?" I asked. " I just don't." He said. "I'll dance with you." Tye said stretching out an open hand. I gladly took it and starting dancing with him. "What a great song." I said sarcastically. "What's wrong with it?" "I'm all about that bass; ass. It's stupid." "Does that mean I'm stupid? Because I'm all about that bass." He said grabbing my ass. "Tye, that was the worst pick up line ever." I said to him shaking my head. "Yeah I know." He said. Tye continued to dance whereas I just stood there laughing at his attempts. Mason was on the couch slurring to Bailey and Kaili, and Camilla was no where to be seen but it wasn't long before she grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the bathroom. "Bub." She said. "What?" I asked. "You do realise what's happening right?" "No." I said back slowly. "Bailey and Tye. Bailey so wants you, and Tye is flirting with you right in front of him." "Tye always does this." I said back. "Did you think maybe he likes you to?" "Nah." I said back as I turned to leave but Camilla pulled me back again. "You need to do something." "Like what?" I asked. "I don't know." She said back. "Neither do I. Can I please just go back out there?" "Okay." She said. As I walked out of the bathroom Mason was talking to Kaili. "I go for many different girls." He said to her. "Man slut." She said back. "No really, I dated Camilla, I think Skylars pretty damn cute, but you're just different." "Right." Kaili said back unimpressed. Mason was pretty much hanging off of Kaili, it was not a pretty sight. I finished my sixth vodka and went and grabbed another mudshake. As I walked back into the lounge room Mason was leaning in closer to Kaili. I could see what was coming, but maybe she was too intoxicated to register what was happening, and then, it happened. He kissed her. Although, to my surprise she didn't kiss him back. Instead, she slapped him and got up and left to her bedroom. "Fucking bitch!" He yelled out as she left. "I want her." Bailey, Camilla and I just looked at him but Tye was oblivious to it all. "What do you mean you want her?" Bailey asked him. "She is different. She is the only girl who has ever rejected me." "Right." Bailey said. "She has a boyfriend." I said as I left the room after her. I knocked on her door before opening it. "Are you okay?" I asked her. "I'm fine." She said. "Then why did you slap him?" I asked. "Because." She said just before she started crying. "Kaili, what happened." I said as I moved over to hug her. "Did he do something?" "No." She whimpered. "Then what?" I asked. "I don't want to talk about it." "Kaili, please, let me help." She just shook her head. "Is it Ryan?" I asked. She just started sobbing louder. "Okay, so that's a yes. What did he do?" "He dumped me." She cried even louder. "What?" I asked astonished. "Don't make me say it again." "Why?" I asked. "I don't fucking know." "That still doesn't explain why you slapped him." "It was just a reaction, I didn't mean to." "Maybe you should tell him that." "Are you fucking kidding? No way!" "Are you going to come back out?" I asked. "No, I'm going go bed." She replied. "Oh, alright, Goodnight." I said as I gave her another hug before leaving again. "Well, she's not coming out any time soon." I announced. Mason was no passed out on the floor. "Tye, help me get him to bed please darl?" I asked. Tye got up and threw Mason over a shoulder and I followed him to the bedroom, pulling back The blanket sheets for Tye to put him in bed. I ten tucked him in and kissed his cheek. "There." I said. "You're nurturing." Tye said. "Hardly." I replied before walking out. Camilla had turned the music down and was sitting on the couch talking to Bailey but her conversation continued to be interrupted by her continuous yawning. "I think it's your bed time." Tye said to her. "It's getting that way, isn't it?" She said back to him as she got up stretching. She walked over and gave me a hug and kissed my cheek as she said, "goodnight bubby." After my hug she hugged the boys and went off to her room. "What're you two doing now?" I asked. "I'm tired." Tye said. "Do we have any plans for tomorrow?" Bailey asked. "Not that I know of." I replied. "Well, goodnight then." Tye said as he walked over and gave me a big hug. But instead of a cheek kiss, he gave me a forehead kiss, that left dozens of butterflies in my stomach that had nothing better to do that flutter around inside of me
