Two months flew by and not a second of my time was not spent thinking about Tye. Finally it was my turn to be happy. I couldn't get his beautiful face out of my mind, but still I was too scared to tell him that I liked him, I was certain he didn't feel the same way about me, so like any other person, I held it inside of myself. The only person who knew was Kaili, and she was disgusted. But through all the feelings and determination to hide it from him our friendship was at its best; we had become so close that we were inseparable. The school term had gone by so fast, it was almost the holidays again, and this time Camilla was coming to see me, and she was bringing two friends with her, Bailey, and Mason. We planned on all going to the Gold Coast for a week with some friends. Our Uncle Mathew but we all him Uncle Matt, had discounts on motels and resorts all over Australia with his job. Mum thought that I could use the break away, so Tye, Kaili, Camilla, Bailey and Mason were accompanying me to the coast. "Tye!" I called out on the Monday of our last week before school break. "Hello darling, what's up?" He asked pulling me into a hug. "You're still coming Friday, yes?" I asked pulling out of the hug. "Duh." He said back to me. "Why wouldn't I be?" "Oh I dunno, I thought you could have changed your mind." I said. "No, I'm excited; I want to get to know your little gang." "Oh goodie." I said. "I don't even know half of them." "Well it'll be a new experience for both of us then." He said. It was finally Friday, the last day, I really didn't want to go to school, I was cold and rain was pouring down. "Mum!" I called out. There was no reply, I got up and walked down stairs. Mums handbag was gone, as was the car; no note but her and Ellie were out of the house. A grin formed on my face, I grabbed the house phone and rang the school, ringing myself in sick before texting Tye and Kaili that I wouldn't be at school but would pick them up at three. When three o'clock arrived I drove up to the school parking in the drop off area waiting for them, Tye was sitting on a rock and Kaili was standing arms crossed at a tree four metres from him, I texted both of them and Tye got to the car first, he opened the front door and hopped in, Kaili showed up not long after and turned her nose up to the fact she had to get into the back seat. "Please don't argue this weekend." I said looking at her through the review mirror. She just looked down at her phone and didn't answer. We drove back to my house and mum still wasn't home. "It's been a while since you've come over hasn't it Kaili." I said. I opened the door and they walked in. Kaili went straight up stairs to my bedroom and left Tye and I standing there. He walked over to me and put his hand up to my face and pushed my hair out of my eyes again. "Better?" He asked. I just nodded and turned around flustered. "I'm going up stairs, coming?" I said starting to walk as he followed. When we got to the top of the stairs he pulled me around, me thinking he was going to hug me was wrong, he bent down and picked me up throwing me over his shoulders, started walking to my room before dumping me on my bed. As he dropped me he lost his balance falling atop of me. Neither of us moved, we just laid there in silence, but our silence and eye contact was broken by Kaili coughing and letting out a loud, "ugh." Immediately, Tye jumped off of me and dusted himself off. "Where are we sleeping?" Kaili asked. "When? Tonight or for the next week?" I asked. "Both." She said. "Well for the week, There are three rooms booked and they all have two single beds in them. Then there is the pull out couch. I don't know where everyone is sleeping, and tonight one of you have the couch." "I'll sleep on the couch." Tye interrupted. The next morning it was a six am start. I packed my stuff the previous night and we were out of the house by eight am. Kaili sat in the back once again and she wasn't too impressed. When we arrived at the Gold Coast we checked in at the motel and were taken up to our room. "Tye I was thinking about putting you in a room with Mason? Cam and Bailey are sharing, unless you want the couch again?" I said. "Sharing a room will be fine." He said. The Toowoomba clan didn't arrive for another four hours so the three of us just hung out around the motel. Kaili and Tye seemed to be getting along well and bonding. I finally got a text from Camilla saying she was downstairs, so I left the other two in the room to bond a little more. I walked out the door and headed towards the elevator and went down to 'ground' and there was the first time I had laid my eyes upon Bailey, oh and Mason. Camilla ran up to me and hugged me, and even through the hug my eyes were fixed on Bailey. Mason and Bailey were sitting on a couch. Camilla led me over to them and introduced me. "Mason, Bailey, this is Skylar." She announced. Bailey stood up, and as he rose, my eyes followed him. "Shit you're tall." I said. He started laughing, he was even better looking in person, he was tall and had a strong build. Mason, on the other hand was a lot shorter than Bailey, and he was skinny. We walked up to the motel room, and I introduced Tye and Kaili, to my cousin, Bailey and Mason. The first three days were boring, Kaili and Tye were finally getting along and I was getting to know Bailey. He was really just like me, except male. We bonded, we connected. Mason on the other hand was gawking at myself and Kaili. "Camilla?" I said. "Why is Mason starring and me and Kaili?" "He's a bit of a man whore Sky. He tried with me to, he will go for anything." She said back. "Oh." I replied. "Don't let him fool you Skylar, he isn't able to tie himself down." Bailey interrupted. "Guys?" I said. "I was thinking we could have a few drinks tonight?" "And how are we supposed to get alcohol?" Mason asked. My eyes turned towards Tye. "Please?" I begged. "If everyone throws in some dollars." He said I then looked at everyone else and they pulled their purses and wallets out. "Right" I said. "What do we want?" "If you get me jäger, I'll throw in an extra twenty." Camilla said. "Okay, jäger mister. Vodka?" I suggested. "And rum." Tye added. "Did you want to grab a JD?" Kaili asked. "If you want it, can we also throw in a few mud shakes?" I asked. "I'm easy." Mason said. "Bailey, what do you want?" I asked. "I don't really drink much, mum doesn't like the idea of under aged drinking." He said. "She's smart!" Tye interrupted. "What type of tastes so you like?" I asked him. "Coconut." He replied. "Add in a Malibu." I said to Tye. "Right, so we have, mud shakes, rum, vodka, Jack Daniels, Malibu. Anything else? Tye said. "My jäger mister!" Camilla said. "Right, and that. Anything else?" "Just the soft drink, and orange juice." I said. "Are you driving me down Skylar?" He said. "Sure."
