First, a recap of the first installment from the characters (think Netflix's recap of Umbrella Academy Season 1):
Rin: So to recap...some sketchy shit was going down in this country far far away called Ambidextrous.
Edward: It's Amestris. There was a series of ritualistic murders and the military was stumped.
Rin: So they sent in an exorcist. My baby brother Yukio—
Alphonse: Aren't you guys twins?
Rin: For the last time, I am technically older.
Edward: Technically.
Rin: Yes, anywho, Yukio rolled up and of course he brought me to lend a hand in kicking some serious ass!
Yukio: In Amestris, I teamed up with Edward Elric aka the Fullmetal Alchemist and his brother Alphonse.
Edward: A pretty badass team I think.
Rin: More like a barbershop quartet of self-loathing.
Alphonse: But nothing was turning out right for us...
Edward: And I found out Rin was the Son of Satan along the way.
Rin: Which wasn't an issue for him...ahem, fortunately.
Yukio: Yes, fortunately, because...
Alphonse: What started out bad, became worse, when...*sigh*
Yukio: My partner hooked up with my brother.
Rin: Worse?! What do you mean worse?! I think that trip got ten times better after that!
Yukio: You do? Do you remember what happened next?
Rin: Er...
Alphonse: The killer—Victor Mansfield—had his sights on Rin and kidnapped him to drink his blood.
Rin: I wonder if I taste good...
Yukio: Regardless of the taste, Victor turned into an immensely powerful demon. But thankfully I had a plan.
Edward: Whoopee, Yukio to the rescue—if I had a second I would have come up with an even better plan.
Rin: And so, with the help of the highly compostable—
Edward: Compostable? Do you mean combustible?
Rin: Yeah, yeah, the very combustible Colonel Mustard—
Alphonse: It's Mustang!
Rin: Then where in the hell am I getting Mustard?
Yukio: That's a character from a board game—which you've never played.
Edward: The Colonel helped a tiny, minuscule amount.
Yukio: Tiny...minuscule...So like you, Ed?
Edward: SAY THAT AGAIN, FOUR-EYES, I DARE YOU
Alphonse: Anyway the day was saved.
Yukio: And Rin and I went back to Tokyo.
Rin: So that's where we find ourselves now. On opposite sides of the world. I asked Ed to come visit Tokyo...
Edward: But we both know that's not gonna happen...right?
Alphonse: Well, then why are the four of us sitting here...?
Rin: Come on, you guys have to come visit! You can meet my friends. There's Shima, Konekomuru, Shiemi...
Yukio: Shura will want to meet them.
Rin: Ah, shit. I forgot when the semester starts up, I start training again.
Edward: Oh, what are you training for, Rin?
Rin: Er...
Edward: Rin?
Rin: Yah see, there's something I haven't told you...
Edward: Rin, what trouble did you get into this time?!
