Today was the day. Bojack paced up and down his room frantically as he prepared for his wedding to start. Holy shit. His wedding.

Bojack was getting married

He never expected to be getting married at this age, not after all of his past romantic failures, and especially not with Mr. Peanutbutter, of all people.  Not in a million years. It was insane, but Bojack was surprised to find that it felt..right. He didn't know if he and Mr. Peanutbutter were soulmates, or if they completed each other, but he knew there wasn't anyone in the world he'd rather be doing this with, and maybe that was enough.

That didn't mean he wasn't nervous as hell, though.

The door creaked open and Mr. Peanutbutter  poked his head through.  "Hey Bojack- are you decent?-can I come in, or-"

"I'm your fiance. Yes, I am decent, jeez."

Mr.  Peanutbutter slipped into the room quietly. "I hope you're ready, because we're starting in fifteen minutes."

Bojack took a deep breath. "Yeah, I'm ready."  He turned and took a moment to admire his handsome soon-to-be-husband.

Mr. Peanutbutter was already dressed up in the suit they picked out for the wedding, he wore a gorgeous pink suit jacket with matching pants. Both pieces had just the right amount of sequins for the over-the-top guy Mr. Peanutbutter was. It was paired with a silk violet tie and white dress shirt.

Bojack himself wore a well fitted black tux with a tailcoat and a matching black tie, tucked into his undershirt. His mane was groomed and the common smell of booze that tended to radiate off of him, was replaced with a subtle cologne. The two of them looked striking together

"You look amazing Bojack, you are amazing." Mr. Peanutbutter smiled, making Bojack blush.

"Shut up", Bojack   bantered with a sly grin, trying to hide his flustered demeanor.

"I'll see ya down there"

"Alright Mr. Peanutbutter."

Mr. Peanutbutter gasped quietly , his ears flopping upward.

"W-what is it?" Bojack asked, a little worried.

"It's just, I like it when you say that."

"Say what? Mr. Peanutbutter?"

"Yeah. That," he smirked, tilting his head back against the wall.

"Get outta here!" Bojack laughed pushing a giggly Mr. Peanutbutter out the door.

Fifteen minutes later,  the ceremony was about to start. Bojack stood outside the cathedral, anxiously awaiting his cue to enter.

He would take his place at the alter  as the various parts of the wedding party entered, and Mr. Peanutbutter was going to be the one walking down the aisle last, as was typically customary for the bride.

Since they were both men, they had discussed beforehand how their wedding was going to work, and which role they each would play if they followed a traditional ceremony. Since Mr. Peanutbutter had wanted one of them to make the dramatic walk down the aisle, and Bojack really couldn't care less, it only made sense that Mr. Peanutbutter should take the moment in the spotlight.

Bojack entered and found his place, his heart pounded like a heart in his chest.  Here he stood, staring into the eyes of the most perfect person in the world. Mr. Peanutbutter really was a catch!

Music swelled, Mr. Peanutbutter briskly walked down, hiding a crimson blush that spread across his gold fur. He met Bojack at the alter, staring into his mocha eyes.

"You're one pretty dog."

"Actually Bojack, I'm a-"

"Golden Lab." Bojack finished, "I know" he chuckled.

Todd, dressed in a very authentic priest uniform began to do a mediocre attempt at reading what he was supposed to.

"Do you take Bojack to be your fawafflely wedded husband?"

"Absolutely!"

"And Bojack do you-"

"I do. A thousand times. I do." He smiled.

"You may kiss the homosexual horse!"

They did.

Abed, Bojack's best man, and Troy, Mr. Peanutbutter's  best man cheered in unison. The flower girl, Jeff Winger, didn't protest.

They ran back down the isle, hand in hand, hearts racing. Bojack thought he didn't deserve it, how could he? He was so...damaged. But Mr. Peanutbutter fixed him. Suddenly, Bojack remembered the bears. What if the police tried to prosecute him for their deaths? He would lose mr. peanut butter and their beautiful life together before it could even start. He should look into legal representation.  Almost on cue, an alberqerky lawyer made his way to them as they conversed with some friends.

"Can I steal Bojack away from you guys?" Saul Goodman asked. "Fine with me!" Greg Bruce said pushing him out of the circle.

"So," Saul began, "I know about the bears, but it was all self defense! I got you covered, so enjoy the wedding sweetheart!" He finished with a slap to Bojack's ass, sending him off like a stallion.

"Hey! I'm a married man." He chuckled.

Bojack found Mr. Peanutbutter in the corner speaking with Erica about her newest injury. He grabbed his hand and dragged him into an empty hallway.

"What's wrong, husband?" Mr. Peanutbutter asked, tasting the word on his tongue. It tasted like whisky and cigarettes. He liked it.

"How am I supposed to keep my hands off you when you look like this honey?" Bojack's hands traveled across Mr. Peanut butters body. This feeling inside him, fuck, it was euphoric. it was something unfamiliar for oh so many years. It was...

Happiness. No, it was love.
