Meeting Daiya

(Mania's POV)

Mondo and I were sitting outside, eating our lunch as we usually did. I was extremely content, and I'm positive Mondo felt the same. I was happily enjoying my pumpkin bread before Mondo tapped my shoulder. I looked over and offered him a slice, which he took,

"Thanks."

"No prob." I smiled at him warmly, and he returned the smile. I noticed that he didn't eat the bread right away though, like he always does. I didn't really question it, so I resumed eating,

"Oi Mania?"

"Hm?" I turned my head to look back at Mondo, mouth full at the moment as he stared at the bread,

"Is Dawn gonna be at yer house?" He asked with disdain. He hates Dawn, and I don't blame him. I shrugged checking my phone,

"I think so. There's always the off chance she's shopping or, whatever." I noticed Mondo let out an annoyed grumble before taking a bite of the slice I gave him. If I can be honest, often times I've noticed how he tries to stall me from going home right away. It's... peculiar; how much he cares, I mean. Well... Dawn is... a really shit person so, he probably just doesn't want me around her too much. I didn't realize I had been staring at him until he cleared his throat. I looked back at my phone once he did. He was silent for a short moment before asking me,

"Ya wanna come over 't my place after school?" I almost choked on my food once he asked that. Is he serious?! He's never asked me that before, how is this time different?? I coughed as I felt Mondo pat my back to help prevent my untimely death. I rubbed my temples before asking him,

"Are you joking?"

"I wouldn't be askin if I wasn't serious." He said with utmost sincerity as he finished eating. He looked over at me for my response. I felt... overjoyed! I almost thought I was dreaming! I gave Mondo a huge grin,

"I'd love to!!" I declared. Mondo chuckled and ruffled my hair,

"Great! Meet me by my bike after school, I'll give ya a ride." He then stood up and went back inside. My face actually began to hurt due to how big my smile was. But I didn't care; I was invited to visit Mondo's house!

After school, as promised, I ran up to Mondo, who was leaning against his motorcycle. He looked at me and grinned,

"There ya are! I was worried ya weren't gonna show."

"There's no way I'd miss a visit to your place!" I retorted, causing Mondo to chuckle. He then hopped on his bike,

"Ya mentioned how ya always wanted to ride a motorcycle, right? Well hop on." He told me. Normally I'd be concerned about a helmet or other safety stuff, but my joy was too immense for me to care. Besides, Mondo knows what he's doing. I hopped on the bike, right behind Mondo,

"Ya might wanna hold on." He suggested. I complied and wrapped my arms around him as he revved the bike. We then took off zooming through the streets.

Ho. Ly. Shit!! Mondo ain't the Ultimate Biker Gang Leader for no reason!! We were so fucking fast! I held onto Mondo tightly in case I accidentally flew right off, and he was just focusing on the road. Before I could fully relish the ride, we arrived at his house. He slowed the bike to a stop and set it against the house. I let go of him and hopped off as he did the same,

"Jesus fuck Mania." He mumbled as he shoved me playfully, "Ya got a death grip there. Thought ya were gonna break my spine!" He joked as we both laughed. He then went to the front door as I followed,

"Bro! I'm home!" He called out as he opened the door. It was pretty quiet, oddly enough. The two of us entered as I looked around. For being in a gang... the mess did not surprise me,
