"He what??" I asked with a shocked laugh. Mondo was pacing around the room in a panic,
"Taka wants me to come over to his place for dinner and I agreed without thinking! I gotta meet his dad! I can't meet his dad Mania!! He'll kill me!!" Mondo grabbed my shoulders to emphasize his panicked state. I just giggled and pat his arm,
"Why don't you ask Chihiro if she can come with? Or Daiya?" I asked,
"Chihiro is busy working on that Alter Ego thing, and Daiya's in the same boat as me!" Mondo replied. He let out a panicked grumble as he stormed into the kitchen. I knew he was grabbing a snack to stress eat so I didn't follow him,
"Well Mondo, I dunno what to tell you. Ya might just hafta accept your fate." I said with a shrug. Mondo returned with a pop tart in hand and went right to me,
"Can you come with me Mania?" He quickly asked. I stared at him in total confusion,
"Mondo, look at who you're talking to. Do you honestly think I'm the right person to bring to meet Taka's dad?" I asked, genuinely concerned. Mondo shook his head,
"I just need somebody with me! There's no way I'll survive even an hour with that scary ass cop! Please Mania!!" Ok now I know Mondo's desperate. He almost never says please unless either Taka or I force him to. I let out a defeated sigh,
"Fine. But only so you can calm down." I reluctantly told him. Mondo sighed relieved and hugged me, which caught me off guard,
"Thanks Mania. I'll pick you up later so we can head over." He then left eating the pop tart. I just sat there in silence, mainly cause of the hug, but also cause I was disappointed in myself for giving in so easily. Oh well, I better get ready. It's dinner at an unfamiliar yet professional house, knowing Taka. I should dress nicely.

(Mondo's POV)
I walked over to Mania's house and knocked on the door, waiting for Mania so we could head to Taka's. I was fucking nervous as hell, and it was pretty damn obvious. The door opened and... fucking hell kill me already,
"Ohhhh, you're Mondo riiiiight?~" Dawn asked in a stupid ass sing-song voice. I glared at her,
"Is Mania here?" I asked in a low voice, controlling my anger. Mania then ran down the stairs, somehow in heels,
"I'm ready! Move Dawn!" She shoved Dawn aside with her elbow and quickly left the house, shutting the door. I laughed slightly before looking at Mania, getting a good look at her.
