Mania's Birthday...?

(Mondo's POV)

"Mondo!!" I heard Daiya yell. God fucking dammit it's like 5 am let me fucking sleep. I didn't reply as I pulled the covers further over me. It was silence for a moment before I felt someone gently shaking me,

"Mondo, you need to wake up." I opened one eye to see dad standing over me, "Your siblings are already eating."
(A/N: It's Yu. Houston, we got continuity :D)

I grumbled and reluctantly got up, rubbing my eyes,

"Fine dad, I'm up." He smiled and went downstairs as I got up. I lazily threw a shirt on and went downstairs. It's Friday so just one more day of school and it's the weekend. Plus, it's Halloween eve.

"Hi Mon!" I heard Mania exclaim excitedly. I looked at her completely stunned as she giggled,

"Tomorrow's Halloween! Aren't you excited??"

"Uh... yeah. I guess." I mumbled as a reply. Mania beamed as I went into the kitchen,

"Mornin Mondo." Daiya said with a chuckle. I rolled my eyes with a slight grumble before grabbing a plate of food,

"I'm gonna go on ahead! I'll meet you at school Mon." Mania called before leaving. I shrugged and took a seat. Almost immediately Dad was standing beside me,

"Mondo, we must talk about Mania." Dad said. I looked at him stunned, nearly choking on my food,

"D-Did she do something wrong??" Dad looked at me confused and shook his head,

"No no, she's ok, wonderful even." I sighed relieved,

"Then what's up?"

"Well... something your sister said last night concerned me." Dad said. Daiya nodded in agreement as I became confused,

"Yeah...? What was it?"

"She... mentioned that she forgot when her birthday was." I blinked surprised,

"Oh that? She already told me..." Dad stared at me blankly as Daiya facepalmed. I rolled my eyes as I finished my food,

"Well... we've decided to do something about it." I looked at Dad confused,

"What do you mean?" Daiya interrupted,

"We're gonna throw her a party on her favorite day! That way she can get a birthday!" I stared at Daiya before chuckling,

"So on Halloween tomorrow, we're throwing a party for Mania?"

"Yup!"

"But she cannot know about the party." Dad explained, "So you will have to distract her tomorrow until we tell you everything is ready."

"Are you fucking serious!?"

They were fucking serious. I'm stuck here trick-or-treating with Mania while they're out preparing her surprise party. Well... at least she's having fun,

"You're starin off into space! What? You thinking bout Taka?" I blushed at hearing Taka's name before clearing my throat,

"Aboooout?" She leaned closer to me as I just grumbled,

"About... how this is probably the happiest I've seen you." I half lied. Mania chuckled and lightly punched my arm,
