(EDITED)
Woohoo! Chapter 11! Finally! So, guys, I'm kind of getting a little too used to this author's note thing, but hey, who knew it was fun? You guys will not believe what happened to me today.

Everyone gasped and Mom started to cry, while Jackson stood up from his chair and growled. "I'll kill those rogues before they kill you!", he vowed, punching the nearest wall.

"It's not like they'll actually kill me...", I trailed off.

"Honey, Alpha and Luna's dreams can be real.", Mom explained. "It is your decision if you want to change your fate, or let it happen."

I looked up fearfully at the medicine man.

"It's true, young Luna.", he said. He looked sorrowful.

A feeling of dread coursed through my body, making me shiver and stare at the ceiling. I might as well just either stay in this hospital bed forever or just join Dad... No, I can't think like that. I won't stay in this hospital bed forever and I won't join Dad...yet. I have to be strong and face whatever fate has in store for me. Even if it means joining Dad.

I sat up to look calmly at Mom. "I'll face it.", I said simply. My friends all looked surprised, while Mom burst back into tears. Jackson, well, I can't explain. He had a face twisted with anger and pain. Did he really not believe in me? I can take care of myself, with or without him. The medicine man just smiled reassuringly at me through kind hazel eyes.

"Elizabeth.", Jackson warned.

"Jackson, I'll be fine.", I said. "I can't hide from what fate wants for me. If I have to die, I'll die. If I live, then I live!"

Macie had tears in her eyes, desperately trying to hold them back. She couldn't. "Oh, Eliza!", she cried, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Oh, please don't leave us! We need you! We need you very much!"

It warmed my heart that my friends loved me. As a sister, not as a...you know. I grinned at them, showing them that my spirits have not yet been taken away from Eliza the Greatest. "Never fear", I cried dramatically. "Eliza the Great never fails!" Everyone burst out laughing, even Jackson had to laugh to that.

I laughed along with them, for why seemed like 1 glorious hour until the medicine man shooed them all away, leaving the room last. It left my mind to wander. Is Jackson still hurt? Am I making the right choice? Lunas can tell what will happen in the future? Does the whole pack know about me being in the hospital wing?

These thoughts kept me awake, though that was kind of good, since it was just 12:00 p.m. It was a while before I, being the bed head I always am, fell asleep.

...

...

...

"Eliza!", a voice called. My eyes snapped open, only to meet face to face with the one and only ugly Clarisse. Her thin lips curved into an unpleasant frown, and her ocean blue eyes squinted at me. What was she doing here? "What in tarnation are you doing here?", I hissed. Clara smiled thinly, a fake smile, as I could tell from her thin plastic-like face

"Checking on you, twit.", she replied coolly. "Beta's orders. It's not like I want to be here."

"Huh.", I said. "I wonder why they sent you."

Clara scrunched up her eyebrows, making her look like an angry barber doll. "Because.", she reasoned. "I am very worthy of checking on the Luna. I should've been Luna, not some low ranked family member! Besides! I'm the Beta's daughter."

I snorted. "Well guess what. Jackson's all yours. I don't want him."

Clara's mouth flew open with surprise and pleasure. "Well then.", she said, grinning at me with flashing white teeth. "I guess your not my Luna, Elizabeth! I guess I am! Wait till I tell my future beloved husband, Jackson!" With that she left the room. I felt like shit. I just sold off my mate. My wolf tried desperately to claw her way out of me and go join her mate, and to apologize for her human's behavior.

No, you will not be owned by this aggressive beast of a mate.

But I need him, he's my soul mate., my wolf whined, continuing to claw my insides. I got up, hoping Jackson wouldn't be there to see me leave. Especially if his new "Luna" has told him the news. He wouldn't be too happy... "ELIZABETH!!!", I heard a shrill shriek. Oh shit. It was Jackson. I ran out of the room and into the slim hallways of the medicine wing. The hall ran left and right, turning corners. How in the world am I going to get out of here?! Suddenly I caught a scent that made my wolf happy. Uh oh. He turned the left corner, rage shown in his eyes as a pleading Clara followed behind him. Shit shit shit shit shit.

I ran the opposite way, turning its corner and running straight ahead. The light blue walls were bare, no windows, no doors, no nothing. Hmmm. This is gong to be one heck of a maze. Weaving in and out of hallways, I finally reached an elevator. A golden brass sign above the door read in black painted letters, "The Alpha and Luna's Medical Center". Oh. That explains the bare blue walls. Pressing the button, I heard footsteps coming this way. Of course, I knew who it was, but of course, I did not give in.

Just as Jackson and Clara came into view, the elevator door opened. Thank you, God! I quickly stepped inside, just as Jackson ran forward. Just as he turned to walk in after me, the door shut in his face. Take that, sucker! Sorry, just a little too thankful. I heard cursing right outside the door, but that quickly faded as the elevator slowly dropped down to the first floor. As the door opened, I was met by five pairs of eyes. Yup, you can guess. Macie, Mia, Cass, Mom, and the medicine man.

"What are you doing outside of your room?!", the medicine man cried as I stepped out.

"Just escaping one of the snobbiest and possessive Alphas of all time.", I replied coolly.

"That's not funny, young lady.", Mom scolded seriously. "Back into bed."

"No!", I cried, just as the elevator door opened and out walked Jackson and Clara.

"Elizabeth!", Jackson yelled angrily.

"Sorry Mom, no time.", I said to Mom, pushing past them and running out of the lobby doors. I swear, this medicine wing is so tiny!
