Chapter 26

I can't believe I'm pregnant! I stared down at the plus signs on ALL the tests. My friends were looking down over my shoulder, gaping at the results. "Damn, Elizabeth.", Cass smirked. "You must be some naughty 18 year old. I mean, look at me! I'm not pregnant! I just had my period last night!"



I was too busy grinning down at the results. I can't wait to tell Jackson! I rushed out of the living room bathroom and up the stairs. I checked our room. Hmm, no one's here. Hey wait, didn't Jackson say he was going to a pack meeting sometime before yesterday? I rushed back into the bathroom, where my friends were still staring down at the results.



"Guys, I'm going to the pack meeting.", I announced. "I've got to tell Jackson now." I rushed back out after snatching two of the tests for evidence. I ran out of the pack house, my heart hammering in my chest. Oh my gawd, I'm pregnant! I quickly unlocked my car, got into it, and slammed the door shut.



I started the car, quickly driving onto the road. I was almost there by the time I saw a figure standing in the middle of the road. "MOVE BUDDY!", I yelled at the figure, but it didn't move.I decided to stop, instead of commuting a murder. I looked up to realize who it was. Shane. He walked over to my window, which, lucky for him, was rolled down.



"Hello, babe.", he said huskily.



"What do you want?", I snapped.



"Well, I want you. Do I not make that clear?"



"Well, too bad! You're not the father of my soon to be children!"



Shane's face twisted in disgust. "That mother fucker dared to get you pregnant?!", he yelled in rage. He looked up with me in fury. "Once those demons are born, I'll have you.", he threatened. "I'll kill that damn Alpha and his child. I don't care if that means hurting you." Then he was gone.



I shuddered. Once my baby is born, he'll kill it?! Oh hell no! No one messes with an infuriated Luna mother! Especially not one that can kick butt!

I rushed into the wooden double doors, panting as I leaned against the table that was occupied by a lot of people. "Luna!", one man, I'm guessing who is the one who held the meeting and meant business, snapped. "What are you doing here?! You aren't supposed to be here, this is an all male meeting!"



I looked up at the man, my face expression was determined and confident. "Well, I need to talk to Jackson, no matter what you say."



"Well, unless you have something important to say,", the man looked over at Jackson, who's face was expressionless and stone hard. "Like if you're pregnant or something, I suggest you leave." I could tell that the man was being sarcastic, so he just waved his hand away as if to swat a fly.



"Well, that's exactly the case.", I snapped. "And Jackson"- Jackson looked up with a million different expressions on his face-"if you don't want to hear that I just found out about my pregnancy, then fine. I'm going." I turned away to walk out of the meeting hall, ignoring Jackson's "Baby, please, wait!" or "Wait, please! We need to talk about this!"



I hopped into my car, driving out if the tiny parking lot that was packed with cars and out onto the road. By the time I reached he pack house, I heard Jackson's car pulling in. "Baby, wait!", Jackson called. "Please! I love you!"



I couldn't deny those 3 words. I sighed to face the most handsome guy in earth. "What?!", I snapped.



Jackson stated into my eyes. "A-are you really pregnant?", he asked quietly.



"Yes.", I said firmly, holding out my tests that I had taken. Jackson stared at then, a small smile creeping onto his face. "I can't believe it.", he whispered, leaning down to kiss me. He is going to make a great father!
