Chapter 25

I woke up to the sound of the curtains being drawn back. "Jackson.", I groaned. "You woke me up."



"Honey?", a voice called. This voice was feminine and definitely not Jackson. I sat up, looking up at the source of the voice. Mom. "Oh, Mom!", I exclaimed, a little taken aback as to why I was in her room. "What am I doing here? Where's Jackson?"



"Hon, you cane to my room crying last night because you wanted to sleep away from Jackson."



Then it hit me. Last night's argument. I lie back down, anger coursing through of me. Jackson was being such a jerk. Can he not see that I could take care of myself? That I would never leave him? That I loved him, and him only? Could he not see any of these things?



I sighed. I hate possessiveness. The girls were very rarely possessive over their mates, mainly because mated men didn't give into most girls, but most mated girls gave into men. That's where we get broken-hearted males, because their mates rejected them just to keep being sluts. It's sad, really.



Why would Shane take me? Why me? Why not one of those extremely hot and sexy girls, like Clara, or something? I looked up at Mom. "Hey, Mom, I'm going to go hang out with my friends.", I said. Mom nodded and smiled. Hey, is she tearing up? Huh. I patted Mom's back, smiling back at her. Yup, she's tearing up. What's her problem?



"Mom, don't cry, I'll always be your baby girl.", I sighed. Mom wiped her tears away and nodded. "Mommy, I love you.", I said as I wrapped my arms around her neck. I planted her kiss on her cheek and pulled away. "Bye, Mom.", I said, and exited the room.



As I looked around at the hallway, I wondered what should do next. Hmm. It's kind of odd that I haven't had my period in a while...oh shit. My eyes widened. Oh my gawd! I rushed down the stairs, avoiding off glances. I made my way to Macie's room. "Mace!", I cried. The door flew open, revealing a smiley Macie.



"Yes?", she asked.



"Oh my gawd!", I whisper yelled. "Macie, you have to come with me!"



She sent me an odd look but nodded. "Okay.", she said, following me to Cass' room.



"Cassidy!", I literally screamed. "Open the damn door!"



I heard grumbling, and sure enough, Cass opened the door, looking a bit bothered. She sent a questioning look at Macie, who just shrugged. "You have to come with me.", I ordered. "And that's a Luna's orders." I ran off without another word towards Mia's room, glancing back once to see Macie and Cass following me.



"Mia!"? I yelled, pounding in the door. "Get out of this room now and follow me!"



The door swung open and Mia rushed out looking rather alarmed. "What?", she asked, but I ignored her and proceeded out of the pack house. I grabbed my keys and unlocked my car. "Get in.", I said.



Oh my gawd, is it really true?! I started driving towards the drug store when Mia broke the silence. "Hey, can you at least tell us where we're going and why it's so important?", she asked.



"Hush.", I said. "You'll see." I parked the car, rushing into the drug store without even waiting for my friends. I walked right up to the clerk. "Excuse me, but where are your pregnancy tests?", I asked, smiling at my friends as their jaws dropped.



"Isle 4 to your left.", the guy said. I searched for isle 4, when I finally saw a sign that said "Pregnancy Tests". I headed towards that isle, looking up at the tests before me. "Ladies.", I said. "I want you to grab one test each, we'll try them all out."



The girls didn't even hesitate to obey me. We started looking up and down at the tests, looking for the best. "Got one!", Mia said.



"Me too!", Cass cried out happily.



"Um, I think this one will do.", Macie said, staring down at a violet colored test. "What did you get, Eliza?"



I held up my baby blue colored test for them to see. "This one.", I said, walking over to the clerk. As he charged me, he stared at the four of us. "Are all of you pregnant?", he asked incredulously.



"No!", Macie, Cass, and Mia cried in ushion.



Then the guys eyes traveled down to me, and he smiled the kindest smile I've ever seen. "Luna.", he said as he smiled. "Congratulations. I hope it comes out positive."



I smiled back at him. "Thank you.", I said, as I paid for the tests and headed out of the store.



"OMG, Eliza!", Mia squealed. "You might be preggers!"



"Yea, I know.", I said, smiling up at my friends.
