Chapter 13 Missing in Action

I looked at the others with confusion. Wait a minute, let me introduce myself. I'm Philip and I'm telling the story from this moment on. Now that that's been cleared up, it had been over an hour since Wesley and Other Gabby disappeared.

"Where do you think they went?" I asked the others.

"I don't know, but I would appreciate it if someone helped me down from here!" Poofy yelled in his helium fueled voice. Enoch sighed and grabbed the balloon gun off of the ground. He turned the dial and shot Poofy, which caused him to turn back to normal and fall to the ground.

"Thanks for not doing that sooner jerk," Poofy said instead of saying thank you like a normal person.

"I hope Wesley's okay," Sarah said softly.

"Who cares about him. He ditched us like the asshole he is," Gabby told us. I walked over to her.

"My brother is not an asshole. He has saved the day probably more times than anyone else," I said to Gabby.

"Yeah, Wesley is the best fat guy I know," Poofy said out loud.

"So are we just gonna wait for Wesley to get back or are we going to do something?" Gabby asked. Suddenly, a light flashed and Death appeared in front of us.

"Oy idiots. How's it going? I have some good news and some bad news for all ya," Death told us.

"What is it?" Sarah asked.

"The good news is that someone wants to see ya again," Death said. He moved out of our way so that we could see someone from our past. It was our old friend Caleb.

"Hey everybody, how's it going?" Caleb asked us.

"Caleb!" Enoch screamed before running up to hug his best friend.

"Wait Caleb as in Caleb the famous scientist and inventor?" Gabby asked.

"That's me. I'm the famous Caleb," he answered.

"Caleb, how are you alive? We saw you get blown up," I said.

"I was given a second chance at life. One minute I'm in the middle of a reading class with H.P Lovecraft, the next minute I'm meeting with Death," Caleb explained.

"Hey Death, do you know where Wesley is?" Sarah asked.

"That's the bad news. Fatass is still alive, but he is somewhere deep within the multiverse," Death informed us.

"How can we find him?" I asked curiously.

"don't ask me mate. I'm just the messenger. You'll have to find him on your own," Death said. At that moment, Death disappeared and we were all left alone inside of the room.

"So what are we going to do now?" asked Gabby.

"I think we should start by climbing up the slide and getting back to the van," I said, now taking charge as leader.

"So what did I miss while I was gone?" Caleb asked.

"Well we had to fight clones of Wesley, Philip, and their long lost sister Gabby. We went to a place where a voice answers your questions and I was fixed into not being able to BLEEPING curse. That's pretty much all that happened," Poofy declared, proud of his summary of our adventure.

"That's it?" Caleb asked me.

"That's more or less what happened," I replied.

"I'm never around for the fun stuff," Caleb sighed.

"Trust me Caleb you definitely wouldn't want to be there,"

It took us all a while, but we were able to crawl up the slide. Gabby insisted we take Jimmy's body, so we took it with us with the hope that Caleb will be able to fix Jimmy up. Anyways, as we made our way to the van, Gabby approached me.

"Hey, I'm sorry about saying those things about your brother," Gabby said, apologizing.

"It's okay, I know how you feel. Besides he's our brother," I said back. She looked at me and smiled. I knew that at that moment, everything would be okay for the time being.

"Don't worry Sarah, we'll find Wesley as fast as we can," Enoch told Sarah, trying to calm her down.

"So you and Wesley are a thing now? That's the craziest thing I have ever heard," Caleb said, sounding fascinated with the idea that Wesley and Sarah were together.

"Knock it off fruit basket. At least she found someone to be with," Poofy said to Caleb.

"I was in love once. It was the saddest moment of my life," Caleb said with a tear in his eye.

"Look at what you did Poofy. You made the poor nerd cry and he's only been back for half an hour," Enoch said to Poofy.

"What did I say? I only made fun of his love life," Poofy said, being honest. We all got into the van. Caleb got in the driver's seat while everyone but Sarah got into the back. Sarah sat in the passenger's seat.

"It feels great to be back in the magical flying van again," Caleb said out loud.

"Why does she always get to sit shotgun?" Poofy complained.

"Because of two things. She's pregnant and she isn't a yellow seven inchtall talking doll," I told Poofy. Everyone got a laugh out of that. Anyways, wetraveled back home to get some rest.
