The second book, Midnight Thoughts, is in the works, and honestly i think it's coming along better than this one did, but to understand a lot of the details of MT (and to have more fun because a lot of things are revealed *mysteriously* in this that aren't in MT because they are crucial to the plotline) you do need to read this first
