Even after trying for the past three days, Bondita could not forget that day. Precisely, she could not forget what Anirudh did to her that day in his study.

She remembered how he had smirked at her after she let out a moan in response to his touches. It confirmed that she liked his touch. He hadn't done much after that, much to her disappointment. He had just played with her for about a few minutes while she sat there on his lap trying to control her moans and wanting him to touch her more at the same time.

She couldn't believe she was capable of feeling such things. She did not even know what those feelings were. Why did she respond that way to his touch? She didn't feel this when she had fallen in the arms of his assistant. Then what was so different with him that she let him do all that to her and wanted more?

She wanted to ask him for he was the only one having enough patience to deal with her curious mind that she only revealed to him. But she couldn't. He hadn't stopped talking to her. No, he wasn't entirely ignoring her but he was not paying as much attention to her as he used to. And it was hurting her. She had to admit, she was attached to him. His ignorance wasn't sitting well with her. On top of that, she had to see him acting all friendly, too friendly for her liking with his childhood friend, Saudamini Bhowmik, who seems to be crushing on him.

Saudamini Bhowmik, or Mini Didi as she preferred to address her for she couldn't accept that he was the only one who called her mini; had returned that day from her paternal aunt's home at Calcutta and instead of taking rest at home, the desperate woman had come straight to Roy Badi to meet her beloved childhood friend, Anirudh.

Bondita was okay so far but when Anirudh, after the arrival of his precious mini, started acting distant from Bondita and spent more time with Mini instead; jealousy kicked in. Bondita was jealous but she could not figure out why.

Right now, she was standing outside his closed study door, peeking inside to see what they were doing. She feared it is what she and Anirudh had done and the closed door scared her more.

Is it locked? He had gotten me to lock it that day.

She tried opening the door to send some relief to her burning heart. And it opened! Instantly, a smile appeared on her face but it dropped the next moment when she saw Saudamini and Anirudh hugging.

Anirudh turned to her as her eyes turned moist and said calmly yet accusingly,

“Bondita, you should have knocked"

His words added to the hurt she felt upon seeing them together like that and she unknowingly gritted her teeth seeing the blush on Saudamini's cheeks. She threw one angry glare at him before storming out of the room.

Anirudh bit back a smirk as she left. He had seen her peeking in and deliberately hugged Saudamini interrupting whatever she was blabbering. Saudamini had been talking ever since she stepped into his study, maybe it was about her vacation at her aunt's place, he didn't really know what she was talking about because his mind was on how to make Bondita realize that he wasn't just no one to her.

Anirudh, with a wide grin plastered on his face, left to his room without throwing another glance at the blushing Saudamini who stood confused at his departure.
