Akkar had begrudgingly followed The Dwarven company and made sure to keep an eye on them as they sat at a rather large and long table. The platinum blonde watched as the Dwarves were served food whilst some of the elves around played the Harp and flute.
The Half-Elf wanted nothing more than to make the Dwarves starve as they complained about the lack of meat in the greens that they were given.
As The twins, Gandalf, Thorin, and Lord Elrond finally walk out to the Company and Akkar before they go and sit at a separate circle table. As they sat, platters of food were sat down in front of them.
Akkar stood back and observed, rolling his eyes at one of the younger dwarves that had thought an Elf was an Elven maiden. Eventually, The Half-Elf tuned them out and focused on the music the Harp and Flute were making.
Lord Elrond has been given the sword that Gandalf and Thorin had found in a troll cave,
"This is Orcrist, The Goblin-Cleaver. A famous blade forged by the high elves of the west. My kin. May it serve you well" The elven lord spoke, handing the Dwarven prince back the weapon while Gandalf handed over his own.
"And this is Glamdring, The Foehammer. Sword of the King of Gondolin, these were made for the Goblin Wars of the First Age."
Elrond seemed to take a moment as he hands Gandalf the weapon back, a pause before speaking again. "How did you come by these?"
Gandalf sighed,
"We found them in a troll-Hord on the great east road, shortly before we were ambushed by orcs."
He explained,
"And what were you doing on the great east road?"
Elrond inquired after Gandalf spoke,
"Excuse me?"
Thorin spoke suddenly while standing. This drew the attention of Akkar, the Half-Elf took a small step forward with a raised eyebrow. As he did this, Nasir stood and walked over to Akkar, gently grabbing the blondes arm and tugging.
Akkar looked down at them, and Nasir smiled while murmuring something gently to him along the lines of; "Let's go." Before the smaller of the two guided the way out of the hall.

Vanya stood with her hands folded in front of her politely as she listened and watched the Dwarf Prince and Gandalf, argue about something. She took notice of Akkar's bored look and also of her twin, who seemed to be poking fun at the small Hobbit whom she had previously learned was named Bilbo Baggins of the Shire.
"Our- business is no concern of elves."
"For goodness sake Thorin show him the map" "it is the legacy of my people. it is mine to protect. as are its secrets."

"Save me from the stubbornness of dwarves. your pride will be your downfall. you stand in the presence of one of the few in middle-earth who can read that map. show it to lord Elrond."
While Gandalf and Thorin argued continuously, Vanya noticed Akkar growing impatient and irritated. She also watched as her sibling put a hand on Akkar's arm. She smiled; they were perfect for each other.
Vanya suddenly turned back towards the matter at hand as the Dwarf that she had assumed was Prince Thorin's advisor, spoke up.
  "Thorin no,"
The Dwarf had spoken, trying to convince the Dwarven prince out of doing such a thing. But Thorin finally walked forward and handed the map over to Lord Elrond, the elven lord opened the map, and studied it for a good moment.
"Erebor,"
Vanya furrowed her perfect eyebrows as her father figure spoke, what would the Dwarves want to go back there for?
"What is your interest in this map?"
"It's purely academic,"
Gandalf replied to Lord Elrond's question before Thorin got the chance to say anything at all.
"As you know, this sort of artifact sometimes contains hidden texts."

The elven lord nodded slightly and turned, walking towards the moonlight as if to see the map better.
"You still read ancient Dwarvish do you not?"
Gandalf spoke, and Lord Elrond did not reply as he held the map up in the moonlight and spoke in Elvish after a moment.
Vanya's eyes lit up and she smiled widely,
"Moon Runes!?"
She spoke excitedly, realizing only after a moment that her and her twin had spoken and said the same thing at the same time, though with different tones.
"Of course, an easy thing to miss,"
Gandalf spoke while Bilbo, the small Hobbit, looked around confused,
"Well in this case that is true."
Elrond speaks,
"Moon runes can only be read by the light of a moon of the same shape and season as the day of which they were written!"
Vanya spoke with a wide smile, her head tilting.
Lord Elrond smiled slightly and nodded in confirmation,
"Well, can you read them?"
Thorin asked and Vanya looked over at Akkar as the Half-Elf spoke up,
"Most likely."
Lord Elrond nodded and made a gesture for them to follow him as he started to walk, and while everyone did follow, a sudden silence came over the group until they all finally walked out onto a carved-out cliff of sorts with a crystal looking table right at the edge.
