Sam drove them to Triskelion. Steve was in the passenger's seat while Nat, Adeline and Sitwell sat in the back with Adeline in between Nat and Sitwell.
"HYDRA doesn't like leaks" Sitwell said
"So why don't you try sticking a cork in it" Steve suggested harshly causing Adeline to chuckle.
"Insights launching in sixteen hours, we're cutting it a little bit close here," Natasha pointed out.
"I know, well use him to bypass the DNA scans and access the Helicarriers directly." Steve said
"What?! are you crazy? that is a terrible idea" Sitwell pointed out
All of a sudden, they heard someone land on the roof of the car, Sitwell got pulled out of the window, and threw him into the oncoming traffic. They then realized it was the Winter Soldier.
He started shooting at them through the roof. To avoid getting shot Natasha jumped into Steve's lap while Adeline used her powers to shield herself. Then Steve pulled the emergency break causing the Winter Soldier to get thrown forward and land on the road. A car behind them then rear-ended them pushing them forward. The Winter Soldier jumped on the car again and smashed his hand through the windshield and pulled the steering wheel off.
"Shit!" Sam shouted
Natasha then began to shoot at him, but the Winter Soldier jumped onto the car behind them.
"Steve! Any ideas!" Adeline asked
Steve grabbed the door handle getting an idea
"Adeline get in the front with Sam and get him outta here" Steve said
She obeyed getting the hint
"Hang on!" Steve shouted.
Steve held on to Natasha and pushed open the door. They slid on the door through the street until they came to a stop. While Adeline teleported herself and Sam out of the car. Sam just looked around and then over at Adeline.
"It's a long story" Adeline tells him
The Winter Soldier and HYDRA agents get out of the car and started shooting at them. Steve, Adeline, Nat, and Sam split and ran off in different directions. Natasha and Adeline met up and the Winter Soldier began shooting at them. Natasha and Adeline hid, and Nat quickly shot at him hitting him on the goggles. They took the time to run off.
The Winter Soldier took off his goggles pissed off now and told the HYDRA agents in Russian "I'll take care of them. Find him"
He made his way to Natasha and Adeline as the HYDRA agents went after Steve and Sam. Once Steve made it to the ground under the bridge, he saw the Soldier going after Nat and Adeline.
"GO I GOT THIS!" Sam told Steve from the top of the bridge
Steve nodded then took off running after the Soldier.
Adeline and Natasha hid behind a car then Natasha started setting up her phone.
"What are you doing?" Adeline asked
"You'll see" Natasha told her
Once don, they hid behind a different car.
The Winter Soldier heard Natasha's voice behind a car and thought he found them. He rolled a bomb under the car. Little did he know it was a trap and the voice was only a set up phone.
"I make and LZ, twenty-three hundred blocks at Virginia Avenue. Rendezvous two minutes" Nat's voice played.
The bomb exploded then Adeline hit the soldier with her power sending him flying forward into a car. The soldier quickly got up ready to attack only to be attacked by Natasha, Adeline afraid of hitting Natasha began to fight the soldier with the training HYDRA had given her. Natasha was thrown leaving Adeline fighting the soldier but not for long he took hold of her arm and flung her onto a car hurting her ribs.
"Thats going to leave a bruise" Adeline commented
Both Nat and Adeline got up and ran with the Winter Soldier right behind them and shooting at them.
"Get out of the way!" Natasha yelled to the civilians as they ran
Adeline helped stop the bullets from hitting them and the civilians until she missed one due to her power reaching its limit and Natasha was shot in the shoulder. Nat fell until Adeline caught her, helping her lean against a nearby car. Adeline looked around and saw the Soldier was heading their way ready to kill them until Steve jumped in and attacked him. Adeline slowly beginning to gain her power back to the chance to see what she could do for Nat.
"Here let me take to bullet out" Adeline said hovering her hand over the wound.
"No, I'll be fine go help Steve" Nat said stopping her.
"Are you sure?" Adeline asked concerned
"Yeah, use the power you have to help Steve now go" Natasha answered
Adeline nodded and got up to join Steve in the fight. They fought him off Adeline using her power, but he was stronger than he looks. The soldier managed to punch Adeline in the gut knocking some air out of her causing her to fall back. He took hold of Steves shield and threw it at him, but Steve was able to catch it and avoid being hit. After Steve fought him while Adeline began to get some air getting her strength back. Steve then fought him till the soldier's mask came off. He looked up at Steve, only for Steve and Adeline to see the Winter Soldier was Bucky all along.
Steve and Adeline stood there in shocked Adeline began to tear up.
"Bucky?" Steve questioned
"Who the hell is Bucky?" Bucky asked
He then finally looked over at Adeline wide eyed as if he knew her and only her not Steve.
"сестра?" (Sister?) he asked taking a step forward.
Both Steve and Adeline heard this leaving Steve confused since he didn't understand Russian but of course Adeline did due to HYDRA. Bucky then shook his head and aimed at Steve. Sam then flew in and kicked Bucky to the side. Bucky took quick aim again, but Natasha beat him to it my firing at him with a grenade launcher. He vanished in the smoke that came from the explosion, then sirens were heard and Rumlow along with HYDRA agents appeared.
"Drop the shield! On your knees! Get on your knees! Now! Get down! Down!" Rumlow commanded as they all aimed their weapons at them
Steve put his shield down and put his hands up along with Adeline who was still in shock. Rumlow kicked both of their legs in order for them to kneel down.
"Don't move" Rumlow commanded.
Rollins had Steve at gunpoint as a helicopter was above them. Adeline glared at him, but that didn't really faze him. Rumlow took notice and put hand cuffs on Steve.
"Put the gun down. Not here . Not here!" Rumlow told Rollins.
"What are we going to do with her he wants Steve more. " Rollins asked motioning to Adeline
"Oh, trust me he will want her to join us again like before" Rumlow answered smirking at Adeline
Rollins lowered his gun. The HYDRA agents then took all four of them into custody. All Steve thought about was how this entire time Bucky was the Winter Soldier trying to kill them. Adeline on the other hand could only imagine what he went through and what he is going through being with and part of HYDRA.
