They were able to survive the maze. They were able to survive the Grievers. They even survived Gally... well, most of them did. But now they're free, they're out of the maze, there's no more Grievers to deal with, no more W.I.C.K.E.D, they're finally safe.
At least that's what W.I.C.K.E.D wanted them to think. Unbeknownst to the Gladers, they walked escaped one of W.I.C.K.E.D's trials, just to step into another.
Now they have to escape W.I.C.K.E.D directly while running though a scorched. Not to mention running away from all the people infected by the flare. Now they have to avoid W.I.C.K.E.D at all costs while they try to find a rumored safe spot.
They're able to meet new people, new allies... but at the same time they also lose more friends. But no matter what is thrown at them, nothing can break Felisa and Minho... right?
