You're the reason for my heart's flutter
You're the reason for my mouths stutter
You're the reason for my smileYou are not what is wrong with me
You are my melody
When they place a stethoscope onto my heart they'll only hear you
I know it's early but I also know it's trueYou make me feel dizzy and faint
But a world full of color is what you paint
You're sweet, funny and caring
And you don't mind me over sharingWhen I first heard your voice
My heart didn't give me a choice
I knew I was yours
Even before I knew who you were or what you looked likeThose eyes of yours are so mesmerizing
You're words I'm memorizing
You're on who I'm imprintingThis must be a fantasy
I can't see how this can be reality
The feelings that you stir within me
Are both capturing me and setting me freeThis I can see
That you will be the death of me
You're my heart failure
Yet still my saviorYou're my Barlow syndrome
You're what's wrong with me
Yet you are what is perfect right for me
You are my heart
You pound like thundering beats in my brain's archive
Yet you keep me aliveYou have your kindness showing
And keep my blood flowing
I must have taken extacy
Because you can not be my reality
That's just insanityYou are my barlow syndrome
You will be the death of me
Yet you're the only one saving me
So let's just see what will be
But with these heart racing drums
And your words like a guitar's strums
Serenading me to my death
