David: "This one just came in a minute ago, its still ongoing. seems to be down the road."

Clay looked out the window, police officers had started to leave the police station in a hurry.

Clay: "Well it seems to be a high speed chase. Nothing we can't handle."

As soon as he said that, a pickup truck drove quickly down the road, ramming cars out of the way.

Clay: "Yep. Come on, lets go help." He said as he turned to leave to the door. David followed.

multiple cop cars were chasing the pickup truck. Why were there so many?

Clay: "Pull over, we can settle this without anymore casualties!" He said in reference to the people in the cars that were rammed earlier.

Truck driver: "You ain't getting me coppers!" The driver pushed the truck as fast as it would go, unfortunetly, a road was closed off, which meant he would either have to go through it, or try to find a different road.

Clay: "If he trys to do anything, shoot out the tires. The road heads onto a highway, he would have to jump, get out through the passenger side, or give up. We should be able to catch him" He said to David.

David: "Got it." He said as he kept an eye on the truck.

Like Clay said, the road did lead onto a highway, the truck driver had an idea and tried to drive off the road, jump out, and land onto some grass, hopeing it would soften his fall. So he tried to do just that.

Clay: "Whats he..."

David: "That crazy basterd is gonna try and drive off the road!"

Clay drove quicker.

Clay: "Donna, Allen, Everyone, stop that driver!"

the other police officers drove and tried to get around the truck to block it off.

It had failed.

The truck rammed some of the cars over, police officers were injured, but not dead. Then, the truck driver drove off the road, and jumped out of the truck.

No other cars were on the road below, the truck driver didnt care, he just wanted to get away from 'those pigs' as he called them.

Clay stoppes the car and got out his tazer, heading over to the edge of the road, the one above, so the highway and tried to fire it at the truck driver, unfortuntly, it didnt hit. David got out his gun and shot the truck driver in the leg. hitting a major part of the body.

Clay: "What the hell Jackson?"

David: "i wasn't going to let him just get away. we had to stop him somehow."

Clay: "Yes but you just shot him through the bone-"

David: "So what? if we keep talking, he will try and limp away." He said aiming his gun back at the truck driver, who in pain was infact trying to limp away. Clay stopped him, David, taking the gun from him.

Clay: "You seem to be forgetting how we do things We only shoot when someone is in danger."

David: "Alot of people were in danger just now Chief!"

Clay: "...We will talk about it later. Right now, lets just-" he looked to where the truck driver was...

he got away.

Clay: "god damnit..."

David: "You should had let me shoot him."

Clay: "We dont want people to die, bad or not. Next time i decided whether you shoot or not." he said heading to check on the injured police officers.

David scoffed, like a child would if they didnt get what they wanted. He got his phone to call someone.

Later, the clock hit midnight, it was closing time.

Clay: "How is everyone?"

Donna: "No big injuries, everyone should be good after some rest and all that."

Clay: "Good....Hey, you notice something off with Jackson?"

Donna looked puzzled at the chief.

Donna: "David Jackson, the new recruit? He did seem mad about something.."

Clay: "He needs to get his head straight, he tried to shoot at that truck driver we were chasing."

Donna: "But didnt you-"

Clay: "I know what i said, only if people were in danger, and if he tried to fight back, like if he shot at us first and such."

Donna shook her head.

Donna: "You need to work on your wording sometimes. I am just glad no one was killed."

Clay: "I called for an ambulance to check on those civillians, they should be in the hospital for a few days at most."

Donna: "I know."

The two said their goodbyes and left.

In a bush nearby, someone was watching them, or rather, watching Clay. . .

???: "I see him.." Said a rough male voice. "...Yes, i knoe what you told me. The next day should be as planned. They will all see what its like to be the victims."

The person sneaked away. . .

to be continued.
