I buried Betty's body in the back yard, the snow fell down like hell had frozen over. It looked like there were blizzards in every direction. The lights of the town were the only source of light as the insides of the buildings couldn't be seen through.

I walked through the house, seeing the two bodies that were still inside. I left them thier and went to the phone, hearing it ring. I pulled it off the wall, hoping that I could hear Betty's voice again, but deep down I knew I would never heard her sweet, and threatening voice again.

"Who is it?" I said Into the phone

A female voice responded, though I felt no emotion at the time, I could still feel a shudder go through me, my body feeling colder than the weather outside.

"Charlotte Rose. We have some business to settle, meet me at the dinner. You wouldn't want your little boy to be harmed next, would you chief?" The witch of the west cackled as the other end of the receiver went quiet. She had hung up, I had to hurry.

Leaving the phone to hang in the air, I ran to the car, my detectives coat fluttering in the cold wind.

I got in the car, closed the door, and made sure the keys were in. I started the car and sped through the fog that had appeared from the wind and snow.

On the way to the diner, I called in back up.

"John, Norah-"

"It's Nora-" I heard a police officer on the other end say, annoyed and tired.

"Whatever, I need you two to meet me at the diner, now! No need for questions, just get here!" I put the reciver back and arrived at the diner, parking at the side of the road. Feeling my coat pocket,my pistol was still there. I had a feeling I was going to need it.

I got out of the car and ran to the diner, taking my pistol out and making sure it was loaded, and the safety off.

The door was opened and I went through it. Hearing laughing all around me. I tried to find the source of the sound, but noticed the building had been filled with deadly traps. Lots of shotguns rigged to fire, and explosives set to go off if I made the wrong move.

Just then, the doors shut behind me. And I heard footsteps from from the kitchen, and a door slam open.

"A man with little to loose, and yet he took a risk that may mean nothing at all!" Charlie stood by the kitchen door and looked atme, a grin on her face.

She was wearing a red dress, long and beautiful, but torn. Her hair was down, it went to just past her shoulders and it shined through the moonlight. She had on combat boots, the ones she had gotten when she had joined the police force. A damsel in distress.

Except it seemed I was the one in distress, because what was behind her...was my son, he was out cold, and I couldn't tell if he was hurt or worse. But he was in a sitting position as if he were sleeping peacefully.

"Come on, try to save him. Cause if you don't, I have plenty of things to play around with. So many toys..."

"....to kill you with."

Delilah couldn't belive what she was hearing

"Your married?! To who? Who is it? Are they amazing?!"

Jen smiled and waved Delilah away as if to shoo her away.

"Oh its not that amazing. Just a man that raised a wonderful daughter."

Delilah wouldn't take it and pushed her on.

"Oh come on, show me where you two live,I want to meet him! He sounds wonderful!"

Detective Riley, annoyed from the conversation, piped in.

"Hey, we have a monster to take down, remember? Keep an eye out incase Ennard comes around."

"Oh, yeah I forgot about that thing..." Delilah looked saddened.

"Don't worry, I am sure it's weakened enough from what happened back at that police station." Jen said with a smirk.

"Yeah, live from the crime scene"  Delilah said sarcastically.

"Quiet, I think I hear it." Riley said, as metal could be heard againt the ground outside, getting closer...
