Author's Note:

Hi! So, I've broken the rules about updating this everyday, I'm so sorry. I'll try to stick to that goal as best as I can, but I might sometimes skip a few days. Don't worry. I'm not going to wait for a whole month or something.                                                                                                                                    Anyway, this chapter might have a little bit of Dexiana fluff in it. If you don't ship them then I'm really sorry. Just skim those parts. Also, even though I prefer Dexiana, I still have a lot of respect for Tiana and I think that Tiana is a really cool idea, so please don't be offended.

Biana POV:

I lay on my bed and stared at the ceiling. Sunlight filtered through the curtains. I let it fall through me, making me vanish slightly. Vanishing permanently didn't sound too bad, really.

I had hailed the council and most of team valiant. I was taking control of the situation that Keefe was in, but of course no one ever gives me any credit for that stuff. To be honest I was just really wiped out, and I wanted to talk to my crus- I mean Dex. And it sorta stung that he was ignoring all my hails.

Fitz walked in, leaning casually against the wall and looking at me strangely. I glared at him.

"What do you want?" I grumbled.

Fitz sighed "I can't believe Sophie spoke to me like that! We're CoGNAtEs!"

" Do you really think it was her fault?! Do you really think you made her feel good, after she had just found out something that she would have to carry for the rest of her life? Do you really believe that Fitz? DO YOU THINK THAT BEING 'COGNATES' CHANGES ANYTHING?!

Fitz blinked and I flopped back down, groaning. I hoped he was going to leave, but he just stood there, staring until he finally asked,

"How do you know about that?" I rolled my eyes.

"That's your question? Not how can I fix things with Sophie?"

"I-uh..." He stammered.

"Forget it. I'm sick of listening to you whine about your girl problems. It's not my fault that you're hopeless. Get out."

He backed away and I admit that doing that made me feel a little better. But taking my anger out on Fitz wasn't a solution even if it was fun. I guess if Dex wasn't going to answer me, I was going to visit Rimeshire.
