Apart from Izuku and Aizawa, no one was seriously injured. All might lived and represented the symbol of peace as always. The students were a little taken back, not even by the fighting, but by the fact that these villains had entered their lives so easily. They realised for the first time that being a hero was not easy and that they had more than just the responsibility for themselves. Kaede knew that Aizawa's injuries were not her fault and yet something stirred inside her when she saw him lying in the hospital bed, covered in bandages and the only sign of life the beeping of the equipment. When she arrived at the UA, everything she had ever known was gone. Her family was dead and after almost 4 years in a coma she had to get used to life all over again. At the UA, they couldn't look after her all the time, so when she couldn't be with Aizawa, they sent her to another Hero Commission protégé. Keigo Takami. He was 17 when she met him. A young man who hates formalities and tries to hide his pain with sarcasm. Because her Quirk was either completely taken over or completely suppressed at the time, she knew Keigo better than anyone else. He was a big brother to her, taking her on some missions rather irresponsibly, but that was what she needed at the time. At first, everyone treated her like a fragile object that couldn't be left alone, that had to abide by rules, but with Keigo, nothing mattered. He didn't care about the guidelines that restricted her freedom, and to this day no one had found out about all the things the two of them had done back then."He will get better, recovery girl has already taken care of him, it is only a matter of time when he will wake up." She just nodded silently as he put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry I've been so busy lately. I'll take some time off soon so you can tell me what it's like with your classmates. I'll take you home now."Outside, he took her in his arms and rose into the air. It was very windy, but she used the time to think. He said he would take her home. Did the others also see the dormitory as home? After all, they still had parents waiting for them in another house. And even if the teachers at UA always looked out for her and some were as close to her as real blood relatives, they were still spread out and not her true family.
The common room was bustling with activity. Everyone had visited their families that day and now they all seemed to be hungry, because small explosions and shouting could be heard from the kitchen area. "I told you not to touch that shitty hair!" "Oh Katsuki but this is too spicy for us normal people." "Shut up!" Mina approached Kaede as she stepped through the door. "Oh, Kaede how is Aizawa?" She sat down on a couch with Mina and told her and the others who joined them how Aizawa was doing. Denki came out of the kitchen and brought dishes. "Sounds good to me, those villains couldn't do anything against us." Kyoka chuckled behind a hidden hand. "All you did was run around like an idiot after I pushed you around." "That's not true!" "Well, Kaede even had to come and save you..." objected Momo. As they ate, each began to give his view of the events. "I think if I had fought next to Katsuki any longer, I would be deaf by now." Katsuki winced for a tiny moment, then jumped up. "Shut up shitty hair!" but his food was more important to him at the moment than making the situation clear. When Izuku came through the door, everyone called his name and asked about his well-being. They quickly got some more of the food for him. As they cleared the table, Katsuki disappeared. "He's already gone to bed," Eijiro explained as they washed the dishes together. "He probably just needs to rest. Speaking of which, are you all right? After all, you passed out a lot during the fight against the villains." Nervously, she tried to polish a spot off the plate. "Well, I can't exactly shine like that, can I? I guess I just need to train more so I can contribute more in the next fights." "I don't think so. You saved Denki and you did something with Aizawa. In fact, you did so much that your body couldn't keep up and right then you kept fighting. I think that's pretty manly." She nodded, "Thank you."Izuku came into the kitchen holding a notebook that was not bound. "Kaede, can you do me a favour? I want to know how exactly your Quirk works, if you don't mind. Maybe tomorrow you'll have time to write some things in here." She eyed the battered and half-falling-apart book in his hand. "Umm, if that's the way you want it..." "Thank you!" Her gaze moved from Izuku to Eijiro and to the finished harness. "I'm going to go to bed now too. Good night." They called goodnight after her too as she climbed the stairs to the top floor.
She threw herself straight onto the bed and massaged her temples. Her mind was still buzzing since the fight against the villains yesterday. Even though they had failed to kill her friends, she still felt connected to them. The curse of her Quirk. She was able to empathise with how Shigaraki had felt as defeat drew ever closer. Since she had bonded with the villain of the Blitz Quirk, he had slowly begun to fade and that was what was bothering her. With every second that he became a memory and she no longer carried his emotions with her, she felt like she was losing a piece of herself. As if she had just held it in her hand and now it would turn into mist. She tried to concentrate, she really tried, but when her legs started to go numb she knew it was serious. Normally she could have gone to Aizawa, but now... She was losing control of her Quirk and was also panicking because no one could stop her. The panic startled her. As if she were drunk, she staggered against the door and tried to open it. The handle went down and she squeezed through the crack. She didn't know in which area the reality distortion had already begun. No cracks were forming underneath her yet, but the air was vibrating and golden cracks kept appearing in the dimension. She braced herself against the wall and followed it a little way until she felt dim. Her legs gave in and in a last attempt to keep herself upright she staggered down the corridor and landed on her knees. A door opened and Katsuki looked around alertly. She had forgotten he was up here, of course he had noticed the change in atmosphere. He looked down at her and studied her trembling body, her heavy breathing and how she kept trying to sit up on her hands, her eyes fixed only on the exit. He heard voices in the stairwell. Eijiro and Mina. He didn't think for long. It would certainly be unpleasant for her to be found like that in the middle of the corridor. He would have taken her to her room if he had known where it was, but so far he had not bothered with who lived where, even if it was right next to him. At that moment he questioned the little interaction he had with those around him. He took her by the arm and pulled her up and into his room, closing the door behind her. Katsuki turned to see her flinch, panic in her eyes. "What the hell is wrong with you?" She shook her head and looked around in panic. She was sure as soon as he closed the door. She would hurt him. She would not be able to control herself and she would hurt him. "Tell me what to do." Kaede looked up again. He stared at her, angry as ever, waiting for an answer. He stared at her as if he was slowly losing patience and would soon hit her if she didn't answer. Was he not afraid, did he not sense the danger that threatened him? He sighed. His eyes widened as he realised how little oxygen was left in the room, but he quickly covered it up. Katsuki Bakugo simply turned away, went to a bookshelf, took out a book, lay down on his bed and read it. Kaede became silent. She was confused. When she realised that her body was no longer shaking and her mind was clear again, she laughed. Katsuki turned around again. "You're weird, you realise you're here in my room, right? Now tell me what that shit was." "You're funny too. Were you even thinking when you just dragged me in here like that? No? I could have killed you." "Like you could have killed me. Now talk." She wondered if she should really tell him, or just walk out the door. But she owed him one. "Usually when I lose control Aizawa is there to erase my Quirk. But just now... I panicked and knew I had to get out before I destroyed something, hurt someone. And then you just come along, when I'm trying to avoid all people, and lock me in a room with you.
As you may have noticed, the air has become thinner, has vibrated, and also the voids in matter? My surroundings have matched my swinging emotions, if you had come too close..." He looked at her silently. "But you didn't care. You confused me and that is a feeling.... Let's just say I focused on it. I blocked out everything else and thought only of your angry Pomeranian face." "You think you could be dangerous to me? That was nothing. If that's all, you've got a lot of practising to do before I'm scared of you. What did you expect? That I would run away and call you a villain, as often happens with outcasts? Stop looking at me like that, that's exactly what you thought." She clenched her hands into fists and smiled dangerously at him. "See, you look just like an angry pomeranian, like me." She walked slowly to the door. "I hate you, Katsuki Bakugou." He looked after her. "I hate you too..." He thought for a moment. "...scary fairy" Her face darkened even more as she walked out. He was making fun of her. She would make him regret it.
