donghyuck did nothing but clutch his clipboard and tail behind the ceo as they reached the meeting room.

when they entered, he immediately saw a lot of people already sitting in their respective seats. he also saw johnny on one of them that almost made him feel at ease because after all, he's the only person he doesn't feel awkward with, not only him, but he locked eyes with a familiar face, and he instantly receives a friendly smile from him. donghyuck recognized him as jeno, he assumed they were just waiting for the ceo to enter.

two vacant seats are reserved specifically for the two so that's where they sat.

as the older sat on his seat, he looked around before voicing out, "so, shall we start?" he then received a 'yes' from that.

before the speaker of the meeting can start his presentation, he gave each one of them a folder, just so everyone can have an outline of his discussion. after that, he flashed his projector on the white screen in front, as the meeting finally starts.

"donghyuck, take down some notes for me." mark whispered to his secretary, that is just sitting close beside him.

the younger immediately nodded his head, "yes, mr lee." donghyuck answered before preparing his pen as he listens to the speaker.

this is donghyuck's third time being in a meeting and mark can say that donghyuck is already doing good, he's able to pick up the pace of the meeting. the younger will also ask questions to him about some unfamiliar events but mark doesn't mind.

the ceo is more attentive to his secretary's questions rather than the meeting itself.

as the meeting went on, donghyuck continues to observe not only the person that is speaking in the front but also his surroundings. someone will compliment the speaker from here and there but mostly, the secretary hears complaints about the presentation. not only that but he also found out that the speaker's name is park jihoon.

but most importantly, johnny's words throughout the meeting amazes donghyuck. his opinions don't revolve around himself but opinions that he knows will benefit others. no wonder johnny is the one mr. lee relied on when do he was not in the position yet, donghyuck thought to himself.

"and for that, i conclude that we can make the best quality out of our products." mr. park said, finishing his presentation.

"hang on a moment," the ceo speaks while examining the paper in front of him, "you mentioned linking our company to the moon company?" he double-checks as he can't find this statement on the paper.

"y-yes, i did." the speaker in front stutters after hearing the intimidating voice of the superior.

mark tilts his head as a frown made its way on his face. "can you elaborate more about this?"

jihoon nodded, although by this time he can already feel his legs shaking, "well i believe that to grow our product more, we need to have a support." he finishes, hoping that he'll get positive feedback.

but oh, it was far away from positive.

out of frustration, the ceo threw the paper not too far away from him as he leaned his back on his chair. by this time, donghyuck is already panicking in his seat, "no, my company is fully capable of doing that, therefore i don't know why you would do such a thing."
