Josie and I start walking a different way. "Are we really going to the library?" I ask. "Yes, we are, but I don't have a book to return" she answers.

"Why are we going then?" I ask. "There's someone I need to see. Now, stop asking questions" she says. "Then what am I supposed to do? Just wonder in silence?" I ask. "Yes" she answers. I roll my eyes. Soon, we make it to the 'Stefan Salvatore Memorial Library'. She opens the door, then walks in. I follow behind. We walk over to a table where a guy is sitting. "Josie, hi" he says, standing up. "Hey" she replies. "Do you have it?" he asks. "Mhm" she hums, going into a bag.

"Here you go" she says, giving him something. I couldn't see what it was, but, honestly, I didn't really care. "Thank you" he says, receiving a sweet smile from her. "New kid?" he asks, referring to me. "New kid, and my girlfriend" she answers. "Cool. It's nice to meet you. Wade" he says, holding his hand out to me. I do the same, and shake it. "I'm Hope. It's nice to meet you too" I reply, giving him a friendly smile. "Alright, we're gonna go to the cafeteria" Josie says.

He waves at both of us, and sits back down. "Well, he seems nice" I say once we're out of the library. "Honestly, he's probably the nicest person here" she replies. "I wasn't lying, Josie. You do look really good" I tell her. She turns her head, so I know she's blushing. "You're sweet" she tells me. I reach down, and gently slip my hand into hers. I wasn't really holding it, because I didn't know if she'd want it or not.

Though, she tightens her hold on my hand, and looks at me with a bright smile. Is it weird that I have butterflies right now? I stare at her for another couple seconds, then lean forward, and kiss her forehead. Just when I pulled away, she stopped walking. I was about to ask her what was wrong, but I hear someone say "Who's this?". I look forward, and see a girl with dirty blonde hair and blueish green eyes.

I can feel Josie tense. "This is my girlfriend, Hope. Babe, this is Jade, my ex" Josie says. This must be the girl she was talking about. I look her up and down, and she stares at me with angrily. I can see a flame in her eyes, though, she doesn't intimidate me, so I give no reaction. "Nice to meet you" I say. She still doesn't say anything. I can hear Josie's heart starting to beat faster. Josie clears her throat, then says "Ok, good chat. We're gonna go now".

Josie walks past Jade, dragging me by my hand. We get to some door, which I'm guessing opens to the cafeteria. I open one of the doors for Josie, and she walks in with me following close behind. I see Faith and Kaylee sitting at a table full of people. Josie and I walk towards the table. When we get there, we sit next to a girl with curly black hair. "So, this must be the girlfriend" the girl says. I give her a smile, and Josiee nods.

"Everyone, this is my girlfriend, Hope" Josie says. They all say hi, and tell me their names. "Damn, Josie. You have good taste" Penelope says. The others agree by either nodding, or saying something like "Yea". I look down, and chuckle, but don't say anything. They all started talking, and making conversation with each other. Though, I just listened. I wrapped my arms around Josie's waist, pulled her closer, and rested my chin on her shoulder.

"So, you guys are sisters, right?" MG asks. "Mhm" Faith hums. "What are you guys?" Maya asks. "Half wolf, half witch" I answer. "Same" Faith says. "Who's older?" Penelope asks. "I am. She's 17, I'm 18" I say. "How long have you two been together?" Ethan asks. "Is it 3 or 4 months? Because I know we were just talking for a while" I ask Josie. "4 in 2 and a half weeks" she answers. "Why didn't you tell us sooner?" Cleo asks. The others agree. Though, Josie just shrugs.

"Did you know?" Jed asks Kaylee. "Mhm" Kaylee hums. Soon, the conversation changes. I didn't really know what they were talking about, so I kept quiet. Though, I still listened. Josie moved her hand down to mine, and interlocked our fingers while they were still resting on her stomach. I nuzzled my face into the crook of her neck, and smiled. I can smell her shampoo, and perfume. She smells like roses and lavender. It's almost intoxicating. I close my eyes, and enjoy it.

I move closer, trying to get more. Josie let's go of my hand, and starts lightly drawing random things along my arm. She turns her head a few minutes later, and whispers "We gotta go to class". I open my eyes, and lift my head. I unwrap my hands from her waist. "Um, we're gonna head to class" Josie says, standing up. "We're gonna come with" Kaylee says. The 4 of us stand up, and start walking out of the cafeteria. Josie took my hand into hers again.

"You guys are really selling it" Kaylee says. "Yea. If I didn't know it was fake, I'd definitely believe it" Faith adds. I look at Josie with a smile. "So, I met her ex" I say. "Really? What was she like?" Faith asks. "She looked like she wanted to kill me" I answer. I could tell Josie was getting uncomfortable with the conversation, so I said "What class are we going to first?", while looking down at her. "Um, history" she answers. "The teacher mostly talks the whole period, so it'll be really boring" she adds.

"Good time for a nap then?" I ask. "If you want. He doesn't really care what we do anyways" she replies. I let go of her hand, wrap my arm around her shoulders, and pull her closer. She wraps hers around my waist. A couple minutes later, we stop at a classroom. There's a few people already seated when we walk in. "You wanna sit in the back, so you can sleep?" she asks. "Um...whatever you want, love" I answer. She stares at me blankly. "What?" I ask. "I asked you where you want to sit" she states. "Yea, and I said wherever you want" I reply.

"If I asked you where you wanted to sit, obviously that means answer with where you want to sit" she tells me. "It doesn't matter, Josie. That's why I said we can sit wherever" I say. She continues to stare silently, but now, she looks a bit irritated. I lick my lips with a small smile, and look around the room. "The back is fine" I answer, looking at her. "That was all you had to say" she mumbles, walking towards the back without me.

I sigh, and follow her. She sits down, and crosses her arms. I take the seat next to her. I look forward, and see Faith and Kaylee sitting in the front. Faith gives me a look, and mouths "What's wrong with her?". I give he a shrug in return. She motions for me to talk to her. With another sigh, I look at her. "What's wrong?" I ask. "Nothing" she says. I look at Faith again, and she motions for me to try again. I plant my elbow on the table, and prop my head up in my hand.

"Josie" I say. "What?" she replies, though, she doesn't look at me. "Josie" I repeat. "Look at me, please" I add, speaking calmly. Her eyes avert to me. "What's wrong?" I ask. "I already answered your question" she tells me. Her tone is low, and calm, but not the good calm. I stare into her eyes for a moment, not saying anything. "You answered the question, but you lied" I say. She continues to stare silently. "You don't have to tell me, but it'd be greatly appreciated if you could" I follow.

"Come on, babe. Don't make me beg" I say after another minute of her being quiet. She glances up, quickly, then looks back at me. I look up to where she did. Faith and Kaylee were looking forward, but I could tell Faith was listening in. I say a spell to where she can't anymore. "They can't hear you" I tell her. "I'm frustrated with what your answer was" she tells me. "What'd I say wrong?" I ask, staring into her eyes, so she knows I'm listening. "You answered with "I don't care" when I asked where you wanted to sit" she answers.

"I didn't say I didn't care. I said wherever you wanted was fine" I say. "It's the same thing. I mean, why would you say you don't care when I ask where you want to sit? I already said I don't care where we sit, and you just said the same thing. Why can't you just choose one of the options? Honestly, it's not that hard" she rants. I nod, but don't talk until I know she's done. With my free hand, I reach forward, and gently grab her arm, making her uncross them.

I delicately grab her hand, and lightly rub my thumb over her knuckles. She looks down, and watches me do so. "I understand your frustration, ok?" I start. She looks back up at me, and waits for me to continue. "I'm sorry for not answering the question simply. I didn't mean to anger you, or anything. It won't happen again, love" I finish. "It's ok" she mumbles, looking back down at our hands. "Are you sure?" I ask. "Mhm" she hums. "So, we're good?" I follow. She gives me a nod.

"Yeah?" I say, now smiling. She looks back up at me. "Yea, we're good" she tells me. "Hug it out?" I ask, letting her hand go, and opening my arms. She rolls her eyes, but a smile makes its way onto her face. She opens her arms, and hugs me. I reciprocate the hug immediately. We sit there in silence for a few seconds before I say "So, you get mad at the little things. Noted". She laughs, then says "It'll be way worse when I'm on my period". "When will that be?" I ask. "A few days" she answers.

"Shit. I couldn't have come later?" I joke, making her laugh. I uncontrollably smile. I kiss her head, then pull out of the hug. If you asked me why I kissed her, I couldn't tell you why. It just felt right I guess.
