Can I do this?

I quickly wash up, brush my teeth, and get dressed. I walk out when I'm done. It didn't look like Josie was up. I walked over to my bag, and put my things away. I pulled the covers back, and silently got in bed. "How was your shower?" I hear. "You're up?" I ask. "Mhm" she hums. "Oh. Did I wake you?" I ask. "No. Just dreading tomorrow" she answers. "Why, what's tomorrow?" I ask. "School is tomorrow" she answers.

"You don't wanna go to school?" I ask. "No, it's not that. It's the crazy ex girlfriend, which goes to the school" she says. "Mmm. How crazy we talking?" I ask. "She's so jealous that she won't let me talk to any other girls" she answers. "When'd you guys break up?" I ask. "6 months ago" she answers. "Well, I have an ex that stalked me for 3 months" I say. "Three months?" she asks, chuckling a bit. "Yep" I say. "How didn't you notice?" she asks. "I did, but what was I supposed to do?" I reply.

"Oh, I don't know. Get a restraining order or something" she says, obviously. "Well, I didn't think of that" I say. "Obviously not. How'd you get rid of her?" she asks. "I killed her" I answer, joking. "What?" she asks. "I was kidding" I say. "Don't joke like that, asshole" she says. I laughed a little, then said "My aunt threatened her. Well, she won't admit to it, but I know she did". "Well, at least it worked out" she says. "Yea" I mumble. It was silent after that, though, it wasn't awkward.

"Werewolf?" I ask. "Hm?" she hums. "Your ex. Werewolf?" I repeat. "Oh, no. Vampire" she answers. "Mmm" I hum. "Why'd you think she was a wolf?" she asks. "I don't know. They just tend to get...possessive" I answer. "You're a wolf too" she points out. "Yea, but I don't get possessive" I reply. "Just the anger issues then?" she asks. I chuckle. "Mhm" I hum. "I can help take care of her if you want" I offer. "I'd rather not retort to murder" she tells me. "What? That's not what I was talking about" I say.

"Oh. What was your idea?" she asks. "Just make it look like you've moved on" I say. "How would I do that?" she follows. "I don't know" I answer. "I think I need a fake girlfriend" she says. I chuckle a little. "What?" she asks. "Nothing, just thinking" I say. "Thinking about what?" she asks. "If you go to the same school, and you fake date someone from there, she'll probably know something's up" I reply. "You're right. I need someone she doesn't know" she says.

"I can do it" I say. "Wait, really?" she asks. "Sure. Got nothing better to do" I answer. "Thanks" she says. "No problem" I reply. "And you said sharing a bed with someone I just met is weird" she laughs. I laugh also. "Shut up, and go to sleep" I say. "You don't snore, do you?" she asks. "No, Josie. I don't snore" I answer. I feel her flip over. When I turn my head, I see her looking at me. "Good, because if you do, I'm kicking you out" she tells me.

"You would kick your own girlfriend out?" I joke, acting offended. "If said girlfriend snores, yes" she replies. I reach my hand out, and poke her in the ribs. Though, it wasn't hard, and I did this little shocking spell. "Ow" she says, flinching. "Did you just shock me?" she asks. "Yep" I answer. I see the bracelet on her wrist starts to glow red. It was only for a second, then it stopped. She said a spell, then I started to itch. Like, everywhere.

"Ok, ok. I'm sorry" I rush out, frantically scratching myself. "Are you?" she asks. "Yes. Please stop" I beg. I hear her say something else, then the itching stops. I close my eyes, and take some deep breaths. "We should break up" I say. "No, we're breaking up" I tell her. She laughs loudly. "I'm serious" I add. She laughs for another couple minutes. When the laughter dies down, she says "You're funny. I like you". I roll my eyes, then say "I guess you're ok".

She scoffs, then flips onto her back. "You like me, and you know it" she says. "I can't like someone I don't know" I reply. "That can be a problem. Might affect our plan" she states. "Guess I'll have to force you to like me" she adds, turning her head to me. I let out a small sigh. "Goodnight, fake girlfriend" I say, making her chuckle a little. "Goodnight" she replies, flipping over. I look at the ceiling silently. I couldn't help but think about how much I miss my family.

~Time Skip~

"Hey. Wake up" I hear. I let out a groan, but they continue to shake me. I groan again, then open my eyes. "Get up" Faith says. I was laying on my stomach, so I flipped over onto my back. I yawned, and stretched, then sat up. "I'm up" I say, putting my head in my hands. I heard the bathroom door open, but I don't move. "Get dressed. We'll be waiting downstairs" she tells me. I nod, and a few seconds later, I hear her leave. "I have good news and bad news" Josie says. "What?" I ask.

"You don't snore, but you're almost impossible to wake up" she tells me. I chuckle, and look up at her. She has on a white shirt under a blue cardigan, which has a red 'S' on it, and a red skirt. There's also, like, something kind of tied around her neck. Like, a thin plaid strip of clothe. Her hair is down, and slightly curled at the bottom, which I like a lot. "You look good" I tell her. She blushes lightly, then says "Thank you". I give her a sweet smile, then stand up.

"So..." she starts. "I was thinking" she finishes. "About?" I ask, going into my bag. "Rules" she answers. "Rules?" I ask, grabbing clothes out. "Yea. Like, boundaries and stuff" she explains. "Ok. Anything in mind?" I ask. "Mhm" she hums. Though, she doesn't say anything after. I motion for her to tell me. "Oh, right. Um, we can do regular couple stuff. Like, holding hands, calling each other pet names, and stuff like that. You know, being cute. As far as kissing goes, the cheek is fine" she says.

"Is that ok with you?" she asks. "Yea, that's fine, but I have one question" I answer. She motions for me to ask. I walk closer to her, which I can tell confuses her. I lightly place my hands on her waist, and gently pull her closer. I brought my face close to hers, then whispered "Can I do this?", while staring into her eyes. "Y-yes" she answers. I bring my hand up to her face, and gently turn her head to the side a little bit, then place a delicate kiss on her cheek.

I let go, and back away a little. "I'm gonna get dressed. I'll see you downstairs" I tell her, walking to the bathroom. "O-ok" she stutters. With a smirk, I shut the door. I quickly put my clothes on, and brush my teeth. I grab my phone, then walk downstairs. Everyone was at the table, eating. "Good morning" Caroline says. "Morning" I reply, smiling sweetly. "Breakfast's in the kitchen" she tells me.

I walk into the kitchen, and put some food on a plate. I sit at the table, next to Faith this time. I look up at Josie, but I can see that she's purposely avoiding eye contact with me, and she's blushing a lot. I smirk, and start eating my food. "You guys have two options" Caroline starts. "You can either help out around the school, or play as new students, and go to class with the twins" she finishes. I look at Faith, then at the girls. "Um, what're you thinking?" I ask her. "Do we have to really learn stuff?" Faith asks.

"No, just tell the teachers you're only checking the school out, and the girls are showing you around" Caroline answers. Faith nods, then looks at me. "I'm fine with that" I say, and Faith agrees. After breakfast, the twins got their things, and we went to the school. It's literally huge. We get out, and walk in. It looks even better on the inside. There's students everywhere. Some are doing spells, some are studying, some are drinking blood bags.

I look at Josie, and she looks at me. "Cool, right?" she asks. I give her a nod, and a smile. I go back to looking around. "Alright, girls. Since classes don't start for another 30 minutes, why don't you show them around" Caroline says. The girls agree, and we start walking. "So, we have something to tell you guys" Josie says. "What? Don't tell me you guys hooked up last night" Faith jokes. I roll my eyes, and Josie blushes. "We didn't hookup, but we do have a little arrangement" I say.

"What is it?" Kaylee asks. "We are in a fake relationship, so that I can show Jade that I've moved on, and so she'll leave me alone" Josie answers. "So, are we supposed to go along with it?" Faith asks. "It'd be a big help" Josie says. Faith nods, agreeing, as does Kaylee. "Wait, what do you get out of it?" Faith asks. "Um...I don't know" I answer. "So, you just agreed to this without getting anything in return?" she follows. "It was her idea" Josie says.

"I was just doing it to be nice, but now that you say something, I should get something in return" I say. "I'll let you know what I want when I know" I tell Josie, making her roll her eyes. "Me sharing my bed wasn't enough?" she asks. "Wait, you guys shared the bed?" Kaylee asks. "Yea ? Where the hell did you sleep?" I reply. "On the floor" Faith answers. "See, I'm a good host. You don't just let your guests sleep on the floor" Josie says.

"I told her she didn't have to" Kaylee says. I chuckle, and Josie shakes her head with a small smile. "Where are we going?" I ask. Josie looks at Kaylee. "The cafeteria" Kaylee answers. "Our friends usually meet us there" she adds. "Um, actually, I have to return a book at the library" Josie says. "Oh, ok. Just meet us there when you're done" Kaylee says, and Josie nods.
