Faith POV

"No, I was just saying" I say to Kaylee. "Well, you just saying means you're complaining" she replies. "You can shower first since you wanna complain" she tells me, making me chuckle. I was about to say something, but I hear Caroline practically yell "Faith". I immediately jump out of bed, and walk over to the door. Before I can open it, she does. She looks scared, and anxious. "What's wrong?" I ask, concerned. I see Josie walking out of her room, and coming over here. "She's gone" she answers.

"What? Who's gone?" I ask. Though, I soon realize that Hope isn't here. "Where is she?" I follow. "She said she was going on a run, but she..." she starts. "But she what?" I ask. "She isn't stable" she tells me. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, but I have no time to ask. I hurriedly run downstairs, and out of the house. It's dark out, but I can see her walking down the street. I quickly run to her, and grab her arm. I couldn't really see her face, but I can tell she's crying.

"What's wrong?" I ask. "Leave me alone, Faith" she says. "What's wrong?" I repeat. She yanks her arm away from me, and starts walking away. "Where are you going?" I ask, following her. "On a run. I'll be back later" she answers. "Well, I'm going with you" I reply. "No, you're not" she replies. "Yes, I am" I say, sternly, and stopping her from walking again. "I'm not letting you go alone" I tell her. She stays silent for a few seconds. Next thing I know, she turned, and started rubbing. I quickly shifted, and ran after her.

Josie POV

I stand outside and watch as the both of them shift into wolves, and run away. "Get inside, Josie" my mom tells me. With a sad sigh, I do as she says. She shuts and locks the door behind me. Without a word, I sit on the couch. "What happened? I mean, she was fine 5 minutes ago" I ask. "She heard me on the phone with her dad" my mom answers. "That's why she ran" I mumble to myself. My mom sighs, then says "Head to bed". "I-I'm gonna wait for her to come back" I say. "You can't" she tells me.

"Why not?" I ask. "Because we don't know when she will" she answers. "And since she turns at her own free will, it could be days until she wants to come back" she adds. "Then I'll be here when she does" I say. My mom was about to say something else, but Kaylee speaks before she can. "Just let her, mom" she says. My mom sighs, then walks over to the closet. She brings out a box, and puts it on the table in front of me. "Well, for when she does come back, give her this" she tells me.

I nod. "Goodnight, girls" my mom says, turning to leave. "Goodnight" Kaylee and I reply. "Goodnight, Jo" Kaylee says. "Goodnight, Kay" I say, opening the box. Kaylee goes upstairs also. Once I get the box open, I see that it's a bunch of uniforms. I start pulling them out, and looking at the different ones. After a while of debating, I eventually choose a white button down shirt, a blue and black plaid like tie, a grey cardigan with a blue and red 'S' on it, and black slacks with white stripes going down.

I bring the uniform up to my room, and put it on my bed. I take a quick shower, brush my teeth, put on my sleep wear, then go back downstairs. I put the box of uniforms back in the closet, then grab a pillow and a blanket out of there. I go back over to the couch, and make it as comfortable as I can. I grab the remote, and turn on the tv. I go to Netflix, and put on a random tv show. I make sure the volume is low, so I don't make too much noise. I lie down, and pull the cover over my body.

~Time Skip~

Throughout the night, I kept dozing off, then waking up an hour or so later. Now, the sun is starting to come up. I check the time, and see that it's '5:19'. With a yawn, I sit up. With a sigh, I accept that she probably won't be back for a while. I stand, and right when I'm about to pick up the pillow and blanket to put away, the door opens. My head snaps towards it, and in walks Hope and Faith. Hope looks at me a little shocked. She looks at Faith, and she gives her a nod, then leaves.

She walks over to me, and holds her hand out to me. I glance down at it, then back at her. Instead of grabbing her hand, I wrap my arms around her body, and hug her. It was a few seconds, but she hugged back. I felt her kiss the top of my head, which made me smile to myself, and hug her tighter. "How about we head up, yeah?" she says, pulling out of the hug. "Ok" I reply. Yet again, she hold her hand out to me. With a smile, I grab it, and interlock our fingers.

We go up to my room, and she lets go of my hand. "I, um, I wasn't sure if you were coming back or not, but, uh...I chose your uniform" I tell her. She walks over to my bed, and looks at it. "If you weren't sure if I'd come back, why'd you wait?" she asks. What am I supposed to say? I was worried about you? When I don't answer right away, she looks up at me. "Just in case you did" I answer. "That doesn't exactly answer my question" she says, walking closer.

She gently places her hand on my cheek, and softly rubs her thumb back and forth. "I'm ok. You don't need to be worried" she tells me. "I'm gonna shower" she says, pulling her hand away. "Ok" I reply. "What time do classes start?" she asks, grabbing Faith's bag. "8" I answer. She starts walking to the door, but someone knocks before she can open it. She opens the door, and there Faith is. It looks like she's holding her bag also. I see Faith smile as they exchange bags.

She shuts the door after. I see her also smiling when she turns around. Her smile's pretty. She's pretty. She grabs some things out of it, then starts walking towards the bathroom. I walk over to my closet, and start picking out what I'm gonna wear. Once I do, I lay it out on my bed, then sit, and patiently wait for her. About 10 minutes later, I hear the water turn off. Though, she didn't come out for another 5. She looked at me, but didn't say a word.

She walked over to her bag, and put her things away. Once she was done, she came back to me. She laid on the bed, and let out a relieved sigh. "I feel like I haven't laid in a bed in days" she says with her eyes closed. I turn a little, so I can look at her. "How much sleep did you get?" she asks. "Not much" I answer. She opens her arms for me to cuddle with her, which I immediately do. I lay my head on her shoulder, and wrap my arms around her the best I can.

She does the same, but she flips us, so she's now laying her head on my shoulder. I frown, and say "I was comfortable". "Too bad" she replies. With a small sigh, I start playing with her hair. I am really tired, but I wanna enjoy the time I have with her, so, no matter how much I want to go to sleep, my mind won't let me. Her breathing slowed a little while later, which means she's fallen asleep. Though, her grip on me was still tight. I closed my eyes, and let myself relax.

At some point, I dozed off. I woke up to Josie calling my name. "What?" I groan, and try to flip over, though, there's a heavy weight on my body. I open my eyes, and look down. I forgot she was there. "What time is it?" I ask. "7" she answers. That means we have an hour to get ready, though, there isn't much we have to do.
