What are you suggesting?

"Now, I need a nap" I say, laying my head on the desk. "Why are you so tired?" she asks. "Jet lag I guess" I answer. "Though, I'm tired all the time" I add. I drop the spell I was holding up. She nods, and moves her chair closer to mine. She put her hand in my lap, so I figured she wanted me to hold it.

I interlocked our fingers, and closed my eyes. All of a sudden, it got dark. I looked up, and saw that the teacher had turned the lights off. He turned on a movie, and from what I could tell, the movie was based on some war. I glanced at Josie, and saw her looking at her phone. I pulled her even closer, which made her look at me. I laid my head on her shoulder, and wrapped both my arms around her waist. "You're a big baby" she says, chuckling a little, and wrapping her arms around me.

I smile, and plant two light kisses under her jaw. I hear her heart rate pick up quickly, which concerned me. I lift my head a bit, so I can see her face. "Are you ok?" I ask. "Y-yea, I'm fine" she answers. I decided to take her word for it. I laid my head back down, and relaxed. I'm pretty sure she went back to whatever she was doing on her phone, but I didn't mind. Though, I was starting to doze off when she gently shook me. "Hm?" I hum, lifting my head.

She showed me her phone. It's a message from her mom, basically saying for all of us to come to her office. I look up, and see Faith and Kaylee grabbing their things. I do the same, as does Josie, then we all walk out. I rub the sleep out of my eyes, because I'm still tired. We walk in silence. We arrive at these large double doors. Josie knocks, and Caroline says to come in. The 4 of us walk in, and shut the door behind us. "Hi. How are you guys?" Caroline asks.

"We're good" Josie answers. "Ok. I need a favor" Caroline says. "What is it?" Josie asks. "Somehow, we're low on blood bags, and I didn't notice, so I need you guys to make a hospital run" Caroline answers. "Ok, that it?" Kaylee asks. "Yes. Thank you" Caroline says. The 4 of us leave the office, and the twins lead us somewhere. Eventually, we make it to a garage. There's some vans, and cars in there.

Kaylee grabs a set of keys, then unlocks the door to one of the large vans. She gets in the drivers side, and Faith in the passenger. I guess that leaves Josie and I the back. I open the door, and let her in first, then I get in. Kaylee starts driving when we're all buckled up. There's a seat between Josie and I. We were all silent, so I just closed my eyes. "You guys on the outs already?" Faith asks, referring to the seat between us. I keep my eyes closed, and ignore her.

"We're not on the outs. There's just no one here that we have to fake being a couple for" Josie answers. "I don't know. It looks really real" Faith says. "Way too real to be fake" Kaylee adds. "What are you suggesting?" I ask, opening my eyes. "Nothing, we're just pointing it out" Faith answers. "You two do realize we've known each other for less than a day, correct?" I ask. "There's no way we could possibly have feelings for each other already" I add. "Whatever you say" Faith teases, smirking.

I roll my eyes, then close them, and get comfortable. I was dozing off again when the van stopped, and the doors opened. I opened my eyes, and saw them all getting out. With a groan, I did the same. Though, when I walked around the car, Josie and Kaylee were playing 'rock, paper, scissors'. In the end, Kaylee lost. "Shit" she mumbles lowly. "Come on" she says to Faith, then they both walk inside. I groan again, because I could've stayed in the car. "What's wrong with you?" Josie asks. "I need sleep" I answer.

She chuckles. "It's not funny" I tell her. "It is" she replies. I give her a look that says 'Shut the fuck up'. "Awww...is the little baby tired?" she teases, speaking in a baby voice, and jokingly poking me. "Stop" I whine, gently pushing her away. She grabs my arms, and gently pulls me towards her. She wraps her arms around my neck, and mine go around her waist. Again, my head is laid on her shoulder. "This isn't uncomfortable for you, is it?" she asks. "Not at all" I answer.

"You?" I ask. "No. It's quite the opposite actually" she answers. "Ok" I mumble, relaxing, and leaning more into her. Since she's already against the van, she didn't fall or stumble. "Oh, they're coming" she says, letting go. I pull all the way away, and look behind me. There was a man pushing a flat cart with about 4 large containers on it. I guess those are filled with blood bags. When they make it to us, Kaylee opens the back of the van, and he loads the containers.

Josie and I got back in the van, and waited for them. We sat in the same seats we did on the ride here. I'd closed my eyes again. "Don't go to sleep yet" Josie says. "Why not?" I ask, not opening my eyes. "Because you're gonna have to wake back up in 10 minutes" she answers. "Well...I'm just resting my eyes then" I say. "Yea, until you fall asleep" she says. Then, the front doors open. The girls get in, then we drive off. Soon, we make it back to the school. No, I didn't fall asleep.

We all get out, then walk to the back. Kaylee opens it, and someone walks into the garage. I turn around, and see Kaleb. He was sitting in the cafeteria with us earlier. "You taking them in?" Kaylee asks. "Yep" he answers. Josie nods, then we start walking inside. We arrive for the second time at Caroline's office. We knock, and she says to come in. "Oh, you're back. Did Kaleb show up?" Caroline asks. "Yea, he's bringing them in now" Kaylee answers.

"Thank you for that. You guys are free to go do whatever. Just let me know if you're leaving the premises" Caroline says. "Um, we're gonna go" Josie says. I wasn't told this, but oh well. "Where are you guys going?" Caroline asks. "The grill, then home" Josie answers. "Ok. I'll see you guys when I get home then" Caroline says. Josie and I say bye, then we head out. We start walking to the front gates. "Wait, we're walking?" I ask. "Yes" she answers.

I groan loudly. "Dude, calm down" she says. "It's not far" she adds. "It doesn't matter how far it is. I just wanna go home, and get in bed" I say. "But I'm hungry" she tells me, pouting. I narrow my eyes at her. "Fine, but we're going straight home after we get the food" I tell her. She immediately smiles, making me roll my eyes and look forward. I felt her staring, so I looked at her and said "What?". "Nothing" she answers, looking away. "I mean, if you're staring, it has to be something" I say.

"Well, it's not" she tells me. "If you say so, love" I reply. She glances at me, and I can see a light blush covering her cheeks. I smirk. "Stop smirking" she tells me. "Why?" I ask. "Because I said so" she answers. "So, I'm just supposed to do what you say?" I follow. "Yes" she says. "Well, that's not how a relationship works. Not ours at least" I tell her. "How does our relationship work then?" she asks. "First of all, neither of us tell each other what to do" I start.

"We don't walk to restaurants when one of us is tired" I continue. "And we don't get mad when one of us says it doesn't matter where we sit" I finish. She rolls her eyes, and flips me off. "I'm sure we can work that into the arrangement" I say, smirking. "Ew. You're disgusting" she tells me. "Me? You literally just said fuck you, meaning you either want to fuck me, or want me to fuck you. Therefore, you're the disgusting one here" I argue. "I...you know what I meant" she replies.

"No, I don't. Please, clarify" I say. She rolls her eyes again, and pushes me away from her. With a smirk, I wrap my arm around her shoulder, and pull her close to me.
