Y/N POV
Jane left us and we decided to try to head to a town as fast as possible but we were ambushed by Arvo and his friends. Rebecca died and I had to stop walker her from hurting the baby. I push Clem to the ground during the shootout and shield her. Arvo performs CPR on his sister. Mike holds his injured shoulder.
Mike: Shit, I'm hit. I'm hit!
Bonnie: Mike, get over here!
Luke shoots at the Russian group from behind the cover of a short stone wall. Bonnie and Mike also take cover there.
Luke: CKids!
? crawls along the ground, bleeding and speaking in Russian. Kenny fires his pistol and uses a tree as cover. ? hides behind a rock and fires his weapon.
Kenny: Fuck you! You started this shit!
?: (in Russian) They obscured me!
Arvo: (in Russian) Lil' sis! Lil' sis, don't leave me...
Clem notices the baby lying on the ground. She crawls forward, narrowly avoiding getting shot.
Y/N: Clem I'll get the baby you get to cover!
Clem: Okay!
Clem runs to cover where Luke is and I run over to the baby, pick him up and run to cover where Clem is.
Clem: Baby you're alright.
Y/N: Yeah but what do we do now?
Luke: We can't just... sit here and let this guy take potshots at us 'til he runs outta ammo. We gotta do somethin'.
I peak up and shoot the guy laying on the ground bleeding in the head.
Y/N: Got one.
Luke: Good shot!
Clem: Quit talking about it and do it!
Luke: Yeah. Yeah, alright.
Kenny: This don't have to get any worse than it already is! You can just go!
?: (in Russian) That's your fault, you son of a bitch! I will kill every single one of you!
Kenny: English, motherfucker!
?: I kill every one of you!
Luke: If I can just get over to that side of the wall, I could maybe get an angle on this guy. Cover me, alright? Just shoot over towards the woods. It'll give him something to think about. Just long enough for me to make it over there.
Clem: Yeah, okay.
Luke: Good. Good.
Luke: I just need the distraction. Okay? Alright, on my go. Go!
Clem and me shoot at ?, and he ducks. Luke starts to move.
Kenny: Hey, what're you...?
Luke gets shot in the leg.
Bonnie: Luke, no!
?: (in Russian) You started it!
Kenny: Fuck you!
Clem: Luke, I'm sorry!
Luke: It ain't your fault. Well, he got me in the leg, but... I think... I think it went straight though. Shit, I don't know. (screams in pain) I'm gonna be fine. I think I'm gonna be fine.
Kenny fires at ?, making him duck. He grabs Arvo and puts the gun to his head.
Arvo: (in Russian) Let go of me!
