Me and Marah walk down the stairs from my room.

I could just blink us there instantly, but this is something Marah needs. She needs the time to process the loss of her father.

The rest of us are mourning the loss of a childhood we were robbed of, but she is mourning the person who she loved most in this world.

Reginald may have never been a true father to the rest of us, but to Rosie, he was her everything. In her eyes, he could almost never do any wrong.

I hear the rain before I see it. Grabbing an umbrella from inside before we walk through the kitchen doors and into the back yard area.

Holding onto Marah's hand, I open the black umbrella to hold above our heads.

I walk towards the rest of my siblings with Marah next to me, with a dazed expression on her face.

We stand under the elm tree in the yard, according to Luther it was, 'dad's favorite spot'.

Luther carries the urn, claiming that it's because he's number one. We all form a semi circle around him, boxing him into the area.

We all wait a few minutes for Pogo to arrive. Mom speaks up, confusing us all.

"Has something happened?" asked Mom with a smile on her face.

"Dad died, remember." says Allison, looking concerned for her mother.

"Oh yes, right." Mom says, her smile fading.

"Is mom okay?" Allison asks Diego, the closest of us to mom.

"Yea, she just needs to rest, ya know, recharge." says Diego nonchalantly.

We all wait a few more minutes when Pogo comes out. Putting most of his weight on his cane, as he's needed it more with age.

"Whenever your ready, dear boy," says Pogo solemnly.

Pogo and Marah were the two closest to Reginald, his death hurts them the most.

Luther opens the urn and turns it over to dumb the ashes of our late father to the ground. We all wince as it hits the ground. "Probably would have been better with some wind."

"Does anyone wish to speak?" asks Pogo. We all turn towards Marah, who is only just focusing on the funeral. I pull her closer to me so that she doesn't have to speak.

"Very well then. In all regards, Reginald Hargreeves made me who I am today. For that alone, I shall forever be in his debt. He was my master and my friend, and I shall miss him very much.  He leaves behind a complicated legacy-" says Pogo, being interrupted by Diego.

"He was a monster." says Diego, causing Klaus to let out a breathy laugh. "He was a bad person and a worse father. The worlds better off without him."

"Diego!" says Allison sternly, trying to shut him up.
