I wake up a few hours later to the sound of someone crunching something under their boot.

"No, hey! Woah! No, hey, hold on! Hold on!" pleads Klaus. "We can have a conversation. We're adults."

"Okay, you want more?" says the white guy, whose name we learned to be Hazel's, although that may be the girls name. But she just doesn't seem like a Hazel to me.

"No! No!" yells Klaus, banging his chair on the ground. "No, no, no! Stop! Stop! Please, listen."

"Listen, I can... I can get you cash." says Klaus, glancing at me to see that I'm awake. "Amputee hookers, whatever."

Hazel throws more of Klaus's drugs on the ground, stomping on it. "Hey, just, please, just listen. Just don't...No...Please..."

Hazel pulls out a bar of chocolate from Klaus's coat pocket. I look towards Klaus and share a knowing look with him, knowing that it's not normal chocolate.

"Chocolate. Mm-mm-mm!" says Hazel, taking a bite of the chocolate.

"Please..." begs Klaus.

"You want a piece?" asks Hazel towards his partner. The girl takes a piece and eats it.

"...Not until they're high as kites." says Klaus towards someone next to him, laughing.

"Which ghost are you talking to now?" I whisper to Klaus.

"No one special." says Klaus quickly, noticing our kidnappers attention back on us.

The woman waves the chocolate in front of Klaus's face. I can see that it's taking all of his self control to not give in to his urges, for that i'm grateful for my brother.

"This could all be yours for the low, low price of telling us everything." says the woman.

"Okay, fine." sighs Klaus, looking at me apologetically.

"Klaus, no. What are you doing?" I whisper yell to him.

Klaus ignores me, sensing my anger towards him. "Okay, I don't... I don't know where Five is. I wasn't lying about that." says Klaus. "But I can tell you that he's...hasn't-- hasn't been making much sense since he came back."

"Elaborate." says Hazel, as he eats another piece of chocolate.

"I...uh..." says Klaus, turning towards me for support but I look away, too pissed and hurt to help. "He's just...He's been acting like a--a--a lunatic. He's been sitting in this van in front of a-- a lab or something, and... looking for the owner of an eyeball. One of those fake ones."

"He's lying." I say quickly, hoping to save Five.

"I thought you said you don't know Number Five?" questions the dark skinned lady.

"I don't. I swear. But I know that he's lying. He's a druggie. He'll say anything to get his next hit." I say bitterly.

"You're just trying to cover for him." says Hazel.
