Five leaves Marah's room after she finally got to sleep. Walking down into the living room he see's his other brothers as they reconvene to talk about Vanya.
"No sign of Vanya." Five states, though he never really looked. "She's not in any of the rooms."
"She's not downstairs, either." says Diego.
There's a second of silence before Diego breaks it, walking out of the room. "Well, I'm out."
"Wait." Klaus states, making a failed attempt to stop his brother. "Wait. Wait."
"Where are you going?" asks Five, not wanting to be there any longer, just wanting to go lay back down next to Marah. "Vanya is still out there, and so are Hazel and Cha-Cha."
"I know. I'm gonna get my things and then get outta here." states Diego, going to walk out of the room. "I got some unfinished business with those fools."
Diego walks out of the room, heading towards his room. Five and Klaus are left standing in the living room. Just as Five goes to leave, he stops himself and turns towards Klaus, already regretting what he's going to ask his junky brother.
"Hey, did Dad say anything about the apocalypse when you spoke to him?" asks Five, looking up to his brother to get an answer. "Any clues as to how it happened."
"No. No clues. Truly terrific shave." Klaus mumbles the last part more to himself than his younger brother. "But no clues."
"Jeez." breaths out Five, starting to walk away.
"You know, come to think of it," states Klaus, stopping Five midstep leading him to think he's talking of the apocalypse. "he did mention something about my potential, and how I've barely even scratched the surface of my..."
"How did he know about the apocalypse?" asks Five, more to himself than Klaus.
"I don't know, but listen." states Klaus, not picking up on his brothers obvious annoyance with what they are talking about. "This whole jumping through time thing of yours, how did...how did you know how to do that?"
"I didn't. You'd realize that if you were actually sober." Five snaps at Klaus, heading towards the stairs to head back up to Marah, not realizing she's on the stairs listening in to the conversation, albeit sleepily.
"Hey, I am sober. I've been sober for two... almost two days now." explains Klaus, proud of how far he's come.
"Yeah, two days." scoffs Five, not believing him.
"Feels like 45 years." mumbles Klaus, pulling at his skin.
"Who are you kidding, Klaus? I've seen you fidgeting all day." states Five, angrily.
"Well, I guess you are both fighting your addictions, then." yawns out Marah, now moving into the conversation.
"I'm not an addict." scoffs Five, more towards Klaus than Marah.
