The Dead war.

Chapter Twelve:

We walked outside while our daughter practiced her shooting so we could be ready for this war.
"If our younger selves could see us now." Oliver said with a chuckle.
"I probably would have said I was crazy." I replied. I ran inside when my mom called me over when Terrence walked over to Oliver.

"How is she?" Terrence asked.
"She seems to be okay, why?" Oliver asked.
"She was an absolute mess before you came, it reminded me of how she was when she lost the baby and then your daughter Isabella died." Terrence said. "The pain came back, she told me and it was something so painful she couldn't move or eat. The fear of messing up the future she doesn't want to let go of you or Merlia, So the thought that it's possible and you could die knowing this information is weighing on her. Knowing you both would do anything to protect your daughter so now that she is here and you know your daughter you both would lay down your life to protect her and that will ruin the future." Terrence admitted.

"You're Right I would. Just like I would do for my wife." Oliver said.

"And that's your problem, you die Serena loses you and her daughter, and if she dies you lose her and your daughter." Terrence said.

"So if one of us dies it's a lose-lose situation." Oliver said, sighing.

"Exactly." Terrence replied.

"What happens is she dies, Merlia I mean." Oliver asked fear in his eyes.

"That I don't know. Because she is already technically born but I don't know with her dying now if she were and is changing the future how that would affect everything and everyone." Terrence admitted. "I mean I would that even if she died you would still be able to give birth to her and she should be able to live a long life but I don't know we never tested or tried that. Because getting rid of her in the past could eliminate her in the future." Terrence explained watching Merlia walk back in.

"Then why are you messing with things you don't understand?" Oliver asked.
"Because her  father started this war." Terrence admitted. "She thinks that your father Oliver started this war and Prophis became the way it is because of king Leonard but that isn't the case. King Gabriel took the first shot, king Gabriel is the one who murdered your older sister. Your father had nothing to do with it." Terrence explained.

"That doesn't make any sense." Oliver said looking puzzled. "How did Gabriel start this war? And how did Prophis become so depressed and dark?" Oliver asked.

"From what we know, your sister was the life of the party she was always happy and growing and helped the people she grew flowers and everything seemed to grow around her, when she died within days everything died, all of the plants and flowers and trees, all of the people we're saddened so they started to riot. They blamed the king for killing his daughter, and that's when the rumor came out that king Leonard hated women. No one knew that king Gabriel was responsible. So Prophis became dark and dreary and dead, and so did its king, they lost their only child and daughter, and with her birth your mother lost her ability to have kids. About a year later your mother brought home you, she had adopted you. Your father was furious; he believed that it was a weak attempt to replace his daughter. He thought your mother would replace his daughter that easily. She tried to explain for months that you were abandoned in a house when she was doing her daily walk and she brought you into the castle so you wouldn't die. Your father didn't believe it. He let her take you in and you became prince by adoption but he hated you because he felt like you were trying to replace his daughter. He never wanted to play with you, or eat food together or feed you and teach you the ways of a prince because he was bitter that you were experiencing the kingdom and his daughter no longer would. I was there with melody when this all happened. I was 25 and melody was 35. We were together and Melody got pregnant with Serena and Samual, Melody sent Serena away and kept the boy and got sent to the castle. I became a guard but also became bitter that she would send our daughter away that quickly. I then went back into the year 2015 for 10 years. Melody then returned and said it was true the war was starting Serena was 10 and so were you.
