All of our arrows flew through the night sky striking every guard one by one, we hadn't made a single noise so the castle and the other guards had no knowledge they were being invaded. I snuck through the wall and checked every man to make sure they were dead. Once I was positive I sent Sebastian and three men to check on the other groups. I entered the wall through a small door and walked towards the sound of whispering. I stopped just in front of three guards that stood watch 20 feet where the other men had been killed. It was almost pitch black inside the wall with the only light coming from the moon that shone high in the night sky. I could barely see the men in front of me. I held my bow and placed an arrow in my bow and held it up parallel to where I stood and I let my arrow fly. I heard a grunt and a goan and let another arrow fly and heard two bodies hit the floor with a thud. I walked over and felt the pulse of the two men. Nothing, I continued walking further down the hall making sure to keep my footsteps light and soft. I made sure to make no noise. I had to make sure whoever was in front of me had no idea I was approaching. When I reached the next section of the wall two guards stood in the moonlight. I pulled the string of my bow back and held it and breathed deeply and carefully. One man turned to look at me and his eyes widened. He turned to the other men and insisted he looked at me. When the second man turned around he pulled out his own bow and before he could let an arrow fly I let my own arrow fly striking the man with the arrow straight in the heart. In a second I pulled another arrow and pointed it straight at the second man. The man's eyes widened once more like he saw a ghost.

"Serena." He asked, barely breathing.

"My name is Phoenix." I replied.

"Serena it's me David." The man said, holding his hands up.

"Keep quiet unless you want this arrow in your neck. I told you my name is not Serena, why does everyone keep calling me that?" I snapped still whispering.

"Because that is your name." David replied panicked.

"My name is not serena." I bit out.

"What did they do to you?" He asked, his voice breaking and shaking. He sounded sad and heartbroken.

"What are you talking about?" I snapped.

"Your name is Serena, you are twenty-one years old. you are the daughter of our king and queen, you are the princess of Umbris, you are the next in line for the throne and are engaged to Prince Oliver of Prophis. I paused and looked blankly at the man standing in front of me. A part of me felt like I recognized him but the other half of me didn't know how.

"How do you know that?" I asked him. my bow was still pointed directly at Him.

"Because Serena I have known you for over 18 years, we grew up together with most of the guards." He spoke. His words tugged at a part of my heart because I knew I just killed three of them and the others had killed more. My heart started to race. I killed three men and I supposedly knew them. I held my bow back up pointing at him.

"How do I know you aren't lying to get yourself free?" I asked him.

"You were like a sister to me, you went missing over three years ago, your parents sent out multiple troops to find you, after three years we gave up. But I never expected you to come back and especially to not remember any of us." He replied, looking down at the floor. I heard a tiny drop on the floor and that's when I realized he was crying.

"Please Serena, I have a wife and a baby on the way, I don't want to die." He said, his voice breaking. I lowered my bow and he walked toward me. He pulled me into his chest and suddenly everything went black. I felt my body collapse as he grabbed me to keep me from smacking my head on the floor. I woke up on the same throne but instead of seeing myself as an adult I saw a little girl, she was playing with the woman who was on the throne who I had killed in a previous dream. They laughed and smiled and played, and that's when I heard the words.
