I laid in bed for hours pondering what this could mean, I was lying on my back, my hands over my stomach, I turned my head to the right and out the small window I could Tell it was daylight. Sun poured into my room and crossed over my face. It felt warm and comforting like I had a piece of my normal life back. I sat on the edge of my bed when Terrence walked in with a canteen of water and handed it to me.
"How did you sleep?" He asked. I didn't respond for a minute taking in my surroundings and the cool water as it poured down my throat.
"I didn't." I admitted. "I just wish all of this made sense. Time travel, how I was born how I was Merlia's mother before I was actually even born none of it makes since." I replied with my head in my hands.
"Believe me I was just as confused when merlia joined our group, because what we had learned about the war is that the king of Umbris has a daughter serena but If you weren't born yet how did that come to be?." He was also puzzled. We both walked out to meet with Melody as she greeted us in the conference room food laid On the table and I grabbed the muffin and an apple and sat down.
"I think I have figured out our dilemma." She explained pulling out a piece of paper. "So we know that In the history books of 1920 that the king and queen of Umbris had a daughter. Serena was the name they choose, we aren't taught this but Serena died of a fever at 8 months old. They Buried her body in the garden of the kingdom which helped sprout the flowers so they would always have a piece of her with them, and when I came into Prophis the spirit of Serena merged with my baby. Which In turn would make Serena the real original princess of Prophis because she technically wasn't a full baby until she was born she didn't have a soul until she was born so Serena is the actual spirit of Serena." She explained.

"How does that explain it?" I asked.
"Because if you look at the original baby Serena you are a spitting image of their original daughter and that is why they took You in so easily because you reminded them exactly of their dead daughter. It was like a way to redo their parenthood." She replied.

"But how does that explain Merlia because Serena was dead and then wasn't born again until you got to Prophis. How does that explain merlia?" Terrence asked.
"Good question, if you know In movies and tv shows when you go back into the past you mess up the future. I went into the past 10 months before everyone else so I gave birth in 1920 and because of that the future would have changed in 2015 and when I sent Serena away in the 10th month I was there and she ended up in Umbris that's when the future changed. So even though I hadn't actually gone in with everyone yet. The future had already started to change. And that's why Terrence you hadn't noticed Merlia before that day because she didn't exist until I gave birth in 1920 a month before I found a way home and then I came back home to say it worked. So when I gave birth to Serena and then sent her away to Umbris to save her, that is when Merlia came into fruition. Because Serena finally existed the future changed to where she met Oliver and gave birth to Merlia in the year 1950. I was 35 when I went back to 1920. And I was 35 in 2015 so Merlia was older than me because she was born 30 years before I was, and I was in Umbris for 20 years so I am now 55 and yet I am still technically her grandma." Melody explained.

"So when you went back into the past and had me, Merlia then came to fruition and the future knew I was going to have a child so Merlia popped up working for you because In the future you hire her to be a part of your team." I asked again looking for acknowledgement.

"Exactly, so even though you hadn't gotten married yet or even been alive for more than a month, your future was already set in stone for example." She said "and then Merlia popped up in our headquarters and I didn't think anything of it until Terrence who was in charge said he never hired her. And that's when the questions came when she said she was the daughter of the princess of Umbris Serena, but I knew the real Serena was dead. And when I say your face and how identical you were to the princess I named you Serena after the princess. I told the man who brought you to Umbris your name and that was the last time I saw you. Until you came to Prophis and I saw your face, you were my daughter. The one I sent to Umbris. And my sons, who were born in the year 2000 who wanted to come and help at the age of 15 so they became knights, and when I had you Serena I gave birth to Samuel your twin who also became a knight. And Jacobs and Alex were the eldest." She said, I put my head down and sighed.
"What is it?" Terrence asked.
"Jacob the eldest first set of twins when I was sent to Prophis I shot him in the leg to escape. He died." I said sadly. She smiled and Jacob, my eldest brother came out of the corner smiling and before I knew it I got up and ran to go hug him tightly.
"I thought I would never get to meet you." I said smiling. He hugged me right back.
"You can't get rid of me that easily." He replied grinning.
All three of my Brothers walked out and I ran to hug each and every one of them.
"Sorry for shooting you." I said to each one.
"You 're doing your job." Samuel said. "Plus we are twins, the whole twin telepathy thing." He said laughing.
