Chapter 35: I love you

Heizou and the others grown tired of playing cards and then Kazuha remembered there is a really famous wishing pool at the park.

"Looking at the reviews, it's pretty good, we should go there now!" Gorou said.

"What wishing pool?" Thoma came out.

"Just come!" Both of them followed them as they led them to the corridor filled with people. They are not allowed to go out late at night so Gorou had already planned their "battle route".

"There are security cameras so we should use the elevator instead since the route there does not have any cameras."

It was near midnight, the sky was dark and there are faint cries of insects.

The dozen of them looked like thieves, Thoma got embarrassed and took out his mask to put it on. This was ridiculous.

"It's so dark, who can see your face clearly?" Ayato smiled and took out his mask for him.

The so-called wishing pool was just a small pond, covered with coins at the bottom.

Kazuha was especially sincere, he nearly knelt down in front of it, "Bless all of us with high scores in college exams."

Gorou said, "I hope Kazuha's wish come true."

Heizou added, "Plus one."

Hearing this, Thoma let out a soft chuckle, "Plus one?"

Ayato noticed Yoimiya carrying a plastic bag and asked, "what's this?"

"Oh, fireworks."

Everyone heard the word 'fireworks' and crowd around her.

Thoma took several steps back and watched how they are going to set up.

Ayato followed him and stood side by side with him.

After a while, Thoma heard his boyfriend called, "Thoma."

Ayato felt around his pocket for a while and took out a letter.

By the faint light of the streetlamps, Thoma could barely make out the words, but he could read the first line: To my housewife.

Thoma squinted his eyes and then saw the other words. The letter isn't that long, only two sentences.

Let's go together.

To somewhere even further away.

"After it's lit, everybody stay back!" Yoimiya raised her voice.

"Wait! The fireworks doesn't look quite right......." Aether said.

A loud explosion swiftly followed.

Thoma was shocked from the explosion and his ears hurting a little.

"What is this?"

"Yoimiya! These aren't fireworks! These are firecrackers!"

The park security heard the loud noises and quickly went to it's location.

The light from his flashlight was bright, it almost blinded the group, "Oi! What are you doing? Don't run!"

Class 5 ran for their lives, "We're sorry!" Thoma was still stunned, in his mind was repeating the line "somewhere even further away."

Before he could react, he felt someone grabbed onto his wrist, "Thoma- run!" Ayato yelled.

They jumped down the steps, the steps weren't high and for a moment, there was nothing under their feet.

They welcomed the cool wind blew onto their faces.

The streetlights shined brightly at the sides of the streets, the light ran endlessly in both directions on the streets, stretching into the horizon.
