Chapter Nineteen - A

(Ace): Joker is pleased to invite the two guests of honour to Ace & Cros engagement celebration dinner Are you fucking kidding me? (Cro): I wish I could say that I dont believe it He is actually crazier than we fucking thought. (Cro): Look at the guest list This is making me worry even more. Why does he look so disgusted? Harleys apparently invited. Penguin, Bane, The Riddler, and Lex are invited. Pam and Selina are invited as well. No fucking way. Two-Face is invited but his shit-faced daughter is coming as well. (Ace): Maybe she is just an added plus one for Harvey? No way she would show her disgusting face to our supposed engagement dinner (Cro): She is more confusing than you realise I believe that now. The fact that she dared to look me in the eye back then after what she did with Floyd. She knew my past history with him and she most likely would have found out about myself and James. (Rick): The car is ready, sir (Cro): Thank you, Rick It has been a few hours of getting ready for this dumbass dinner. James looks effortlessly sexy in his tuxedo. I have always loved a man in uniform or in a suit. Anything formal just looks so yummy. We get to the venue for the dinner and it doesnt look too horrible. James goes to talk to Harvey quickly as Pam and Selina approaches me. (Catwoman): Kitty! Are you okay? After you told me everything, I am sure that having Joker host your engagement dinner is the last thing you would even want to just think about (Poison Ivy): If you get just one bad vibe then we can leave, alright? You dont have to be here if you dont want to, honey (Ace): We are here now and the bests thing we can do is just act as normal as possible. You guys look great by the way (Catwoman): So do you! (Harley Quinn): Hi guys. What are we talking about? (Poison Ivy): Just how good Lucy looks tonight (Ace): What did you crawl out of to get here, Harley? Last I heard, Joker had no idea where you were (Harley Quinn): Thats a bit harsh now, sweetie. As your mother, I deserve more respect (Ace): A mother does not abandon her child several times. Selina is more of a mother than you could ever be (Cro): Does someone need a shot? (Ace): Thank you, baby I needed a fucking shot so badly. How was he able to see that or notice it? This night is already off to a perfect start. (Harley Quinn): This must be the fiancé (Cro): James, nice to meet you (Harley Quinn): Well see Suddenly a light shines on the doorway and Joker appears. Someone is a bit too obsessed with dramatic entrances. (Joker): Evening all! We are here tonight to celebrate! Ace, my daughter is engaged to the dark and mysterious Cro. Look at them! An audacious couple to say the least. To them! (Everyone): Cheers! James looks at me and holds my hand. Audacious? Well, with these people around all the time it is tough to not become fearless. We sit down and dinner is served to everyone. Damn! Everything tastes fucking delicious. At least they have good taste in food rather than having any sort of mental stability. Once we are halfway with dinner, somebody shows up and it makes my blood boil. (Ace): What the fuck are you doing here? (Harlequin): Ace Lucy? You are engaged to James? (Ace): Why are you asking? You want to give me a crash course on some cheating tips? (Harlequin): Come on, Lucy James, what did you tell her? (Cro): Only the truth. That you were fucking my friend because I would not fuck you until marriage (Harlequin): Lucy, it was a big mistake. It was one of the biggest regrets I have of my life. It was an accident (Ace): SO his dick accidentally found its way to you on several occasions while you had a boyfriend? You are not exactly a dick magnet so spare me the bullshit! (Harlequin): It was a mistake! I regret it and if I could go back then I would change it! I would! *BANG* *BANG* I shot her in each shoulder and put the gun against her forehead. (Ace): You pretended to be a good person. A good person or even a fucked up person has more respect from me than a cheater who will have zero respect from my side (Harlequin): LucyPlease. It was not just my fault (Ace): Floyd will pay for this, trust me. You just have a disadvantage because you were here first I put the gun away and sit next to James as if nothing happened. Suddenly Harvey jumps up with a gun pointed towards me but Joker stops him. (Two-Face): If you think you can fucking shoot my daughter! (Joker): I can guarantee that you will end up dead if you dare to shoot mine, friend Hold up Did he just call me his daughter? Did he just protect me? Did I just probably drink too much? Underline yes to all three of those. Harvey points the gun at me. Both Joker and James stand in front of him. (Cro): Harv, she might be your daughter but you know what she did. You might be my business partner and good friend but all of that goes to shit if you cross this line (Two-Face): She crossed the line first by shooting Duela! (Joker): Trust me, buddy. If you pull that trigger, the next lines to be crossed will be surrounding your dead body. Maybe your daughter will be accompanying you as well (Cro): Put the gun down, Harvey (Joker): I would listen to him if I were you and valued my balls As he says this to him, I look down and see that James has his gun pointed at his crotch. Oh my gosh. He could literally take away any possible kids being made again by Harvey himself. Two-Face and Duela get cleaned up and head off to get the bullets removed. Selina and Pam say that they have to leave as well so we say goodbye and I see them off. This night has become too dramatic but mostly confusing. James and I decided to go home as well so we can have some peace of mind knowing that we are going to be in a safe place where Duela will not pop up so I can shoot her in the head this time. Or for Two-Face to randomly show up to piss me off enough to decorate the other half of his face that has not seen the worst as the one side has. We get to his place safely and I am just so happy to be away from all of those ridiculous people for now at least. (Ace): Thank you for what you did back there. It means the world to me. I know that Harvey is very important to you and your work. So it could complicate things if you guys are not on the same page. It really means a lot to me (Cro): You and your safety is more important to me than anything. Fuck him if he thinks he can threaten my future wifes life in front of him. I wont let it go
