ANNABETH
As soon as Percy gave the signal, Annabeth's team charged towards the hunters. But then she saw Percy's team going deeper into the woods. 'You improvised the plan didn't you' she thought.
She went fighting straight with Thalia. But before she could reach, Thalia took out her spear, smashed it on the the ground and swing through it straight into the trees. Annabeth couldn't reach her. So she shredded the drakon sword, took out her knife threw it at the branch where Thalia was sitting. The branch broke and Thalia fell but before that she fired an arrow and it struck the ground next to Annabeth. The arrow released fog and Annabeth could not see anything.
When fog cleared, she could not find Thalia anywhere. Suddenly, she was hit by a shield in the back, Aegis . She felt loads of pain and fell down by the push of the shield. She glanced behind and saw Thalia standing over her.
Annabeth quickly kicked her in the foot. As Thalia fell, Annabeth rose and struck her drakon sword on the ground next to Thalia and told her, "You are eliminated."
Annabeth saw Phoebe, a hunter carrying the blue flag advancing over toward hunters' ranks followed by campers trying to stop her. "You should have been careful seeing what is happening instead of defeating me, Annie. I was just stalling and didn't use full of my techniques."
Annabeth was then surprised, she saw Percy carrying the red flag racing towards the campers' ranks chased by 2 hunters. She then turned to Thalia and said, "You know why, because I knew my friends would take care of that, Pinecone Face." Thalia stamped her foot in exasperation.
But Annabeth knew the hunters will reach here before Percy reaches the campers' ranks. So she ordered her team to stop hunters from entering hunters' ranks. Clarisse nodded and went head to head with Phoebe.
Clarisse stalled her for a while until Phoebe found a chance to run but there was more of that where it came from. Phoebe saw that she wasn't holding the flag anymore. Clarisse had snatched it and now it would not matter if Phoebe tried to snatch it away because Percy had already reached the campers' ranks holding the red flag. Campers had...won!
After Chiron announced that campers had won the first time against the hunters, every camper was happy even the ones who thought that they will lose as usual all because of Percy.Everyone cheered for him. But Annabeth felt something as if Percy wasn't happy and his mind was somewhere else. She made a note to ask him in the evening.
Everyone went to the dining pavilion for their last meal of the day. She went of to the table of Cabin 3 where Percy was sitting. "That is breaking rules." he said. "Does it matter anymore" she said. Annabeth started to ask Percy why his mind was somewhere else but then a camper came yelling, "Some people are here! They are the magicians." Annabeth and I looked at each other, time to meet some old friends.
