CHAPTER 10: MAGNUS IS CONFUSED

MAGNUS

The day when questers located Leo's grage store:-

Okay, so this is the worst! Magnus thought after last year when he finally delayed Ragnarok, he will find peace in life but no! He just learned someone called Chaos is coming who will do what his name suggests - ensue chaos.

Everyone has started training for when he comes. Whereas Magnus is here hidden on Midgard with a deathchild. He says his name is Nico Diangelo though he is perfectly opposite of an angel. He says that he is from my cousin, Annabeth Chase's paratheon. "So what prophecy were you talking about" Magnus asked Nico.

"I don't know if you will understand or not. In my paratheon, there is a great prophecy and a prophecy. Great one last long and takes time to complete. The not-so great one is a single prophecy usable for a single quest. The great one may consist more than one not-so great ones. Last year we had another single quest prophecy on which me and my friend embarked with a secret quest. This year we had a Great Prophecy and another not-so great one and some questers already on it. As I told you, This not so great one is a part of the great one but I think last years prophecy is connected to these two too. Did you understand it all?"

Magnus nodded. He understood it all. "Woah! You are lot more smarter than someone I know" Nico told him. "Really? What is his name?" Magnus asked. "His name is Percy Jackson" Nico said. "Really he's like...my teacher" Magnus said. "Wait he taught you? I expected more from you!"

"Yeah okay you said all but what am I going to do, wait for Chaos to attack and then defeat him in the battle?" Magnus asked. "No! You will not be able to defeat him in that form, he would already have what he needs. Do prophecies exist in your paratheon?" Nico asked.

Magnus tried to concentrate and call out to the Norns and they appeared after a minute. "We need a prophecy!" he told them. "You know that prophecies are not granted when asked" they told. "Yeah well how much would you like to die when Chaos comes!" Mgnus exclaimed. "He can't do that we control his fate" the norns replied. Now hey were really irritating Magnus. "You don't! He created you!"

"Here you have your prophecy" the norns said before dissapearing. "Well there's your prophecy" said Magnus, "And we have each line in our favour!" "You call that a prophecy, it didn't rhyme at all!" said Nico. "Was it supposed to?" Magnus as he always heard prophecies like this only.

"Gem and together! Two things common!" Nico exclaimed, "You need to find your cousin and others." "How?" "Souls in Elysium can see everything in the mortal world. They can contact me and tell me. They are moving towards Camp Jupiter. We need to be there in atleast three days. 

"How are we going to get there so fast? We are in Boston right now!" Magnus asked. Nico yelled at his top voice, "Mrs. O' Leary!" He noticed a motorbike was there driving at full speed. It was sure gonna get fined for that. But Magnus's eyes adjusted and now, he saw a jumbo sized dog running towards them. "Am I supposed to run?" Magnus asked. "No."

Oh great he had to sit on it. "Shadow travel will take us only an hour though it will drain my energy and hers too." Nico said. It took a second for Magnus to realise that he was talking about the dog. The dog took off after Nico told it something but crashed into the tree. Magnus braced for impact.
