CHAPTER 5: KANES TELL SOMETHINGS

Everyone appeared at the boundary of the magical border which didn't let Sadie and Carter in. Some were grumbling because they had to come in middle of the dinner and some were thinking why the Kanes were here. Percy too immediate action, "I, Percy Jackson, Son of Poseidon, Leader of Camp Half-Blood and blah, blah, blah give Sadie Kane and Carter Kane permission to enter."

Carter and Sadie entered and thanked us. Percy and Carter fist bumped while Sadie and Annabeth exchanged experiences. "Sorry for interrupting your meals but we have something to tell people." "Very well, we shall discuss it after the supper" said Chiron.

"Oh dude, so you are the centaur Percy was talking about" exclaimed Sadie. Chiron felt a little uncomfortable.

After supper everyone sat around the campfire. Instead of singing campers were sitting quiet waiting for the Kane tell them everything. After introducing himself and Sadie, Carter started, "Okay so today, we were cleaning up the mess that Gods and their enemies made again when suddenly Sadie fell down and went unconscious. After she woke up she told us that someone named Chaos(Percy flinched at the name and Annabeth wondered why) was going to destroy the universe. Amos was worried as we already rupulsed him bu4t now he is back. But then in my dream Horus told me that what Sadie said is true and advised me to go to you. That is all we got."

The Percy stood up and said something, "I have to tell you all something too." He told the campers what he dreamed yesterday. Annabeth noticed something, "Chaos is one being that is same through all Paratheons. And also maybe Sadie and Carter are the magicians mentioned in the prophecy." Chiron nodded.

"What prophecy?" asked Carter. She recited the prophecy. Thalia then said, "I don't like the idea but I think we need to issue a quest to stop Chaos." "Woah! Woah! Woah! Take a break can't gods and primordials go defeat him" asked a new camper.

The campers looked at each other. They knew Gods won't do anything, that's how the world works. "So the last line mentioning a gem is the same as the one which Ouranos told Percy" Annabeth said. "Maybe" Sadie mumbled.

"But who will lead?" asked Percy, "We don't have a prophecy for quest only the great prophecy." "This question needs to answered by Ms. Dare. I hope she is well now." said Chiron.

They all went to the Oracle's cave. "I know why you all are here, I have a feeling about a new prophecy." Her eyes went green and she sprouted another Prophecy.

"Six shall embark on a quest to stop the chaotic

Which shall be lead by son of world aquatic,

To find the gem, on a trail

And they shall fail,

Shall have help with another future

They will meet someone and pls don't think him as a intruder"

Rachel fell but she didn't collapse, "Two days haven't passed and I sprouted another prophecy." "Atleast now we can issue a quest and we know the leader" said Carter.

"The prophecy said that we will fail!" exclaimed Sadie, "Who goes on quest that is predicted to fail." "I went on one which was also led by Percy" Annabeth said.

"Anyway, I have to choose questers" said Percy, "They are Carter, Annabeth, Sadie...Thalia and Grover." Chiron nodded.(It seems he has a habit of nodding.) He did not complain of having more than three because it had become frequent.

Annabeth got ready she packed some canned food, a pair of knives and her drakon sword. She saw Percy with some mortal world coins, his watch/shield and riptide. Carter and Sadie had already packed things in a backpack(in which Annabeth put the canned food). Thalia came out with her weapons and Grover came out with 7 acorns. They were ready if only they knew what to really do on the quest.
