Ryan's pov
My head is spinning; which seems to be making me feel nauseous. My vision's slightly foggy, I am finding it hard to make out my surroundings. Finding it hard to concentrate. Where am I? What happened to me? Was I drugged?
I stand up from the bed I'm laying in after my vision comes somewhat back to me. I examine my surroundings carefully. Wondering how I got here. I seem to be a bedroom of some sort. There is a bed, a dresser, a desk, and a closet filled with clothes that aren't mine. My backpack, jacket, and violin case sit in the far corner of the room. My shoes are off and have been placed on the floor of the closet. Did someone take me?
Glancing at the window I examine the curtains. I have never been a curtains type guy. I always found them to be too girly. Silver bars grab my attention though. Okay it's pretty obvious that who ever took me doesn't plan on me leaving.
Hearing the clicking of the door unlocking makes me scoot farther back. I feel my back come in contact with the wall, indicating that I can't scoot back anymore.
The door flys opens, as my mouth opens partially. Confusion taking over me. I have been watching the news back at home, after my two friends went missing. Yet one of them is now standing in front of me.
William's pov
"I don't have much time to explain, she is going to be coming up here any minute." I whisper to Ryan. His eyes are wide upon seeing me.
"What's going on? Who is coming up here? Where are we?" He shouts at me while staying against the wall.
I run over to him, quickly covering his mouth tightly with my hand.
"Shhhh! She is gonna hear us. Mrs. Ackerman has kidnapped us. Annalise is here too, we have been here for three weeks." I explain to my frightened friend, as I remove my hand slowly.
"She kidnapped us? Why?" Ryan whispers quietly, just as the door knob begins to turn.
"Shit!" I look around for somewhere to hide, but there isn't anywhere to hide in the room.
The door opens, as Jaclyn waltz in the room. She glares at me upon seeing me in the room.
"William! Why are you in here?" Her eyes pierce through me.
"I-I just was so excited about having a brother that I needed to meet him, meet him first." I quickly come up with an excuse.
Jaclyn walks up to me as she grips my upper arm tightly. "Get downstairs now!" She pushes me towards the door. I fumble back a little but manage to keep my balance.
"Yes mom." I look back at Ryan before leaving to go downstairs. His eyes filled with terror. Yet there is nothing I can do about it.
Ryan's pov
I watch as Jaclyn kicks my friend out of the room. She watches my reaction, carefully circling me.
"Ummm Mrs. Ackerman why did you take me? Why are you doing this? Why did you take my friends?" I try not to sound scared even though I'm petrified. I at least know she doesn't plan on killing me. William and Annalise are both alive and they have been missing for 3 weeks.
