Prologue

"Jun, please. We can talk about this," Wonwoo begged his boyfriend while tears were pouring from his eyes.

This wasn't supposed to be happening! They were just supposed to go to the parking lot because they were going to be having dinner at a nearby restaurant!

Not this!

"I'm sorry, Won, I really am." Jun looked at Wonwoo straight in the eyes. "I just don't feel the same anymore." And Wonwoo can see it. He can see that there was no longer any spark inside Jun's eyes.

How could he have been so blind to not notice it before?

"But I still do!" Wonwoo shouted.

He wasn't giving up.

No. He's fought very hard to have Jun. And he's going to fight for him still. "I still love you, Jun." Wonwoo reached for Jun's arm and held on tight. "Please! I can make you fall in love with me again."

"No, Won, you can't." Jun struggled to free his arm. Wonwoo was keeping a tight hold on him.

And when Jun finally got his arm free, he turned his back on Wonwoo. He could no longer look at him in the eyes as he is now breaking his heart. It wasn't his fault that Jun fell out of love. It wasn't his fault Jun's heart no longer felt the same. Even though all he has done was love Jun with all his heart.

"You won't know until we try!" Wonwoo was desperate. He doesn't want Jun to leave him! Wonwoo doesn't want him to be gone!

"I'm really sorry, Won. Goodbye." Then Jun started to walk away from him.

Wonwoo tried to go after him. But he had been too shocked that he reacted too late. "No, Jun. No!" Wonwoo screamed.

But it was pointless. Jun already left in his car. And he was fast. Too fast for Wonwoo to keep up.

Jun was gone. Jun had dumped him. Jun had left him. Jun had broken his heart.

Wonwoo was now all alone in the parking lot of their apartment. He doesn't understand why Jun no longer loves him. They were doing okay just a week ago! He never felt that Jun was being distant from him. But then again, he also thought that Jun still loved him.

Now he felt hopeless. Felt powerless. He felt like he couldn't do anything to save his heart. So he did the only thing he could do.

He cried.

He sank to his knees and started to let all the sadness he is now feeling inside his heart come out. He shouted at the empty and dark sky. And he cried. He let every single teardrop speak his heartbreak. And he screamed. Because that's what you do when your words can't make the people you love stay with you. You just cry.
