Happy Pride Month to the entire LGBTQIA+ community! To celebrate this amazing month, I have decided to write a short one-shot for Drew and Corsen! Also, I am so sorry for how late this was! I've had this short story in the works for weeks, but could never find the time to complete it. I am sorry, but I hope you all still enjoy it!

"At the tone, please record your message-" Corsen sighed and hung up the call before the now ever-familiar robotic voice could finish her sentence. Crystal wasn't answering any of his calls or texts, and it was causing him a surprising amount of stress.

Corsen sighed again, shoving his phone into his jacket pocket. He fell into his desk chair, a wave of exhaustion flowing over him suddenly. He folded his arms on his dark wood desk, laying his heavy head on top. His eyes fluttered closed, and he was almost asleep when a soft knock pulled him awake.

"Come in," He called to the knocker, suppressing a yawn and pulling his head off the desk. He ran his hands through his hair in an attempt to smooth it down but gave up when a particularly stubborn piece refused to be tamed.

"Corsen?" A deep voice with just a whisper of a hidden southern accent asked. The person pushed the door back with their hand, it clicking shut. He spun around in his chair, his eyes meeting a pair of deep brown ones.

"Drew?" Corsen asked, looking the dark-skinned boy up and down. "I would have thought you were out on the field with everyone else."

As if aware that Corsen was speaking about them, cheering from the field floated into the room from the one open window. A large group of students was crowded around each other, all participating in a massive game of kickball.

Corsen smiled softly as his eyes found the group Crystal ran with. Jordan cheered and slapped Maddie on the back as they ran past her, jumping into the arms of Coral Rydinger. The daughter of Violet and Tony kissed Maddie on the cheek and spun them around before setting them down. Even from up here, Corsen could see the blushing mess that was made of the daughter of the Mad Hatter. Maddie brushed the spot gingerly with the tips of their fingers before running off and rejoining the game.

Corsen's eyes moved from the window to the teen at his door. Drew was blushing, the bright pink tinge a drastic contrast to his deep, coffee-colored skin. His hands clasped were behind his back, and he was rocking back and forth on his heels. "Corsen, do you have a minute?" Drew asked nervously.

"For you? Always." Corsen said kindly. He sat cross-legged on the carpeted ground of his dorm room and patted the space next to him. Drew took a hesitant step forward, causing Corsen to smile.

"You don't have to if you don't want to," Corsen reminded him. "No!" Drew shouted, throwing his hands up. Corsen jumped in surprise from his sudden outburst, causing Drew to draw back. He dropped his hands to his side and averted his gaze to the floor.

"I'm sorry. I would love to sit with you. . . . But only if you want me too! . . . I mean I wouldn't want to impose!. . Not that I don't like you, because I do! . . . Wait, no! I don't like you! . . . No, I do like you! But-"

Drew cut himself off, blushing in what Corsen guessed to be an embarrassment. "This is awkward, isn't it?"

"Yes, in a charming sort of way," Corsen confirmed, causing Drew to shake his head. He shuffled over to Corsen and sat down on the carpet, drumming his fingers on his legs.

"So," Corsen started. "What can I help you with?"

Drew turned to the window, avoiding Corsen's gaze. "I wanted to ask you something," He mumbled under his breath.

Corsen chuckled. "Alright, what's up?"

Drew turned back to Corsen. His pupils were blown wide as he took a dramatic breath through his mouth. He let it out and began to shake out his hands.

"Hey," Corsen said softly. He grabbed Drew's hands in his and squeezed them reassuringly. "Is everything alright?" Drew was as still as a statue. His eyes darted between their clasped hands and Corsen's eyes.

"Drew, you okay?"

"Willyougotothecorinationwithme?" Drew spit it all out in one breath. He gasped and pulled his hands out of Corsen's. He stood up and bolted for the door.

"Drew wait!" Corsen called to him. Drew stopped in his tracks, hand outstretched towards the door handle.

Corsen stood from the ground and walked to him. "What did you say?"

Drew kept his back facing Corsen. He pulled at his fingers nervously as he spoke. "I . . . I asked if you wanted to go to the coronation with me. As like, a date."

Corsen let out a sharp bout of laughter. He grinned as he reached out and grabbed Drew's shoulder, turning him around. He let out a breath as his laughter died down.

"I'm sorry. It was a stupid request." Drew's gaze fell sadly. He turned to leave, but Corsen's hand grabbed his chin gently. He pulled Drew's lips to a breath's length away from his. Drew let out a whisper of surprise at Corsen's forwardness.

"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have laughed," Corsen apologized. His brown eyes studied Drew's much deeper brown ones. An unspoken conversation seemed to pass between the two.

"Corsen?"

"Drew," Corsen whispered. "I would love to go to the coronation with you, if you'll have me."

Drew's face lit up. A brilliant smile broke across his lips. "Of course I'll have you!"

Corsen wide smile matched Drew's. He cocked his head and placed a short, but sweet kiss to the corner of Drew's mouth. "Well, that makes two of us."
