Amelia's POV

It's been two months since Firehouse 51 got the call about the warehouse fire. And to be completely honest, I've had nightmares about Kelly and that call ever since. So, to say I'm sleep-deprived would be an understatement.

I had spent the weekend making all sorts of heart-healthy food since Mouch's heart attack. I remember when I went to visit the hospital, Trudy wanted him to start focusing on eating better and doing more exercise.

With all the food packed, I put the recipes in an envelope of the food I made. Just in case he liked it and wanted to make it at home. "Mase, come on! We're going to see Daddy," I call out to Mason who is playing in the living room. I watch with a grin as his head shoots up, "Daddy?" He asks, using his hands to push himself up and walk over to me. "Yeah, buddy. Let's go!" I scooped him up, walking to the garage to put Mason in the car first so I had enough hands to carry all the food.

There was enough food for Mouch and Trudy to last them about a week.

Once Mason is buckled in, I head back into the kitchen, grabbing the bags full of food and putting them in the trunk of my car.

I drive the thirty-minute drive to the station, parking on the side of the road, I step out and head to the back seat to grab Mason. "Okay, go get Daddy," I say as I get him out of the road and onto the sidewalk, pointing in the direction of the garage. "Daddy! Daddy!" Mason yells as his little body runs to find him. While he's occupied, I grab the food out of the trunk before making my way inside. "Hey, sis!" I greet Sylvie as I walk by before stopping in my tracks when I see her friend Hope. "Mia, you remember Hope," Sylvie says as I turn to face the two blondes. Giving her a smirk, I shake my head. "Oh yes, how could I forget?" The smile on Hope's face slips, her eyes narrowing at me.

"Okay, hey guys...let's take it down a notch," Letting a breath out of my nose, I nod at Sylvie, turning around to take the food in. "How's Jay?" I stop in my tracks at the mention of my ex-boyfriend, my teeth grinding before whipping around to face her. "I knew you were always a bitch Hope, but it's gotten worse since I beat you in Miss Fowlerton...two years in a row."

"Me? A bitch? At least I'm not a fat cow--"

"Hey!" Sylvie yells, cutting her off. "That's my sister you're talking about. And she's pregnant," I send a smirk Hope's way, placing an arm under my stomach. "Babe?" Kelly calls behind me. "Coming," I give Hope a sarcastic smile before moving over to Kelly. "What was that about?" He asks, throwing an arm over my shoulder since Mason was in the other one. I scoff, rolling my eyes, "That was my sister's best friend, Hope Jacquinot," her name feels like poison coming out of my mouth. "What? You don't like her?" I let out a loud laugh, setting the bags of food on the table in front of Mouch. "Like her? Like her?! She's a total bit--" My eyes move to Mason, "b-i-t-c-h," I spell out. "When Sylvie and I still lived in Fowlerton I ran for Miss Fowlerton one year because my mom made me...Anyway, I won and Hope lost, which she didn't like. And then she was pissed because I beat her again...so she slept with my now ex-boyfriend Jay."

"She's the type of person that gets jealous super easily. She'll ruin you and then swoop in to make herself look better," I shake my head, rolling my shoulders. "But it's whatever," I mumble before turning to Mouch. "Oh, Mouch!" I sing, pointing to the bags of food. "I wanted to help get you started on your health journey, so I took the liberty of finding you some recipes! I even made them for you so you could try and see what you do and don't like," I grin while pulling the food out and organizing it on the table, "they're all labeled so you know which recipe is for what."
