Chapter 3;

Season 2 Episode 14-16

Amelia's POV

Coming to my senses, I feel cold, my face contorting into pain as I feel my face throb. Sitting up, I see that I am still on the sidewalk outside of my house, memories coming back to me in flashes of what happened last night. "Katie," I gasp, pulling out my phone, and calling 9-1-1 again.

"9-1-1 what is your emergency?" The operator's voice asks through the phone. "My friend was kidnapped. I don't know where she is! The man assaulted me," I sob uncontrollably into the phone, hearing the operator ask for my address. Oh god, where is she? Through my crying, I managed to give her my address, hearing her tell me that they would be sending an ambulance and a police car just in case. A few minutes later, the ambulance pulls up, and the police car follows after. I have managed to stop crying, but my face is still wet and cold.

"Mia? What happened?!" Shay asks hurriedly, kneeling beside me. A new set of tears starts to flow down my face.

"H-He took Katie..." I sob, my hands covering my face. Hissing, I move my hands back to see dried blood on them. "Come on, you can tell me on the ride to the hospital," Shay sighs, helping me stand up as she gets me into the back of the ambulance. "You drive," Shay tells Rafferty before closing the door, soon feeling the movement of driving. "Okay, now tell me what happened. Slowly," Shay says, looking me in the eyes as she does her best to clean me up with all of my moving. Flashbacks start swarming my head as I try to tell Shay what had happened. "I-I..." I start to say but stop when I feel my chest start to hurt and my breathing picks up.

Shay's POV

"Shit," I swear, watching as Mia grips at her heavily rising chest. "She's in shock and having a panic attack. I'm sedating her," I warn Rafferty as I grab out the needle, and inject her with two milligrams of benzodiazepine into her thigh, watching as her eyes roll to the back of her head as she falls asleep.

A few minutes later we pull off to the hospital. Rafferty opens the back of the ambulance, helping me with the gurney. "What do we have?" A nurse asks once we roll her inside. "Female victim. Head trauma and multiple lacerations and contusions to the face. A mild case of PTSD and panic attacks. Gave her two milligrams of benzodiazepines, " I told the doctor who met us at the door. "Might want to call CPD," I warn the nurse as she rolls Mia into a room. After filling out the paperwork, I get my phone out to call Kelly. "Hello? Shay?" I hear his husky voice say through the phone making me suck in a breath. "Kelly it's Mia...something bad happened," I say quietly, waiting for his response. "What do you mean something bad happened?! What's going on Shay?!" He says loudly through the phone. "Just get to the hospital," I tell him quickly before hanging up.

Kelly's POV

I was out trying to find information on where Katie could be. I had just talked with the kid Keeler beat up last night when my cell phone started to ring. Looking at the caller's I.D., I see that it's Shay. My brows furrow in confusion but I answer anyway. "Hello? Shay?" I say into the phone, hearing her suck in a breath.

"Kelly it's Mia...something bad happened," She tells me quietly through the phone making my eyes widen. "What do you mean something bad happened?! What's going on Shay?!" I say loudly, feeling my heart race. "Just get to the hospital," She tells me before hanging up. "Damn it," I curse before jumping into my car, starting it, and peeling off the side of the road.

Amelia's POV

My eyes flutter open, a bright light blinding me. Groaning, I open my eyes again, seeing an I-V in my hand. I see a nurse come in, his sandy blonde hair looking oddly familiar. My heart picks up speed, hand earing the beeping on the monitor quicken as well.
