a few days had passed since the tutoring and things were going quite smoothly for the two.

they had started greeting eachother in the hallways along with starting to endure eachother better.
this was especially shocking for their friends who had watched the two bicker for years.

miki was on her way to the local café to meet someone.
her cousin, lee heesung.
he was a few years older than her and already studying at a university and living on his own.
due to his busy life they had started seeing eachother less frequently.
to miki he was like an older brother and hardly seeing him for the past years really took a toll on her.
she missed him so much.

miki opened the door to the café and started eyeing the people sitting at the tables, trying to find the person she came there for.
after a while she caught a glimpse of his signature cap that she could recognize anywhere.

"heesungie!"
miki squealed rather loudly making some people turn their heads to their direction.

"miki, i told you to stop calling me that.."
heesung said as he embraced miki in a tight hug.

the two were sitting down while catching up with eachother's lives.
at the same time a certain boy was making his way to the café.

riki entered the café and his eyes grew wide as he spotted the girl sitting at a table in the distance. but she wasn't alone.

riki couldn't help but stare at the guy sitting with her.
he didn't recognize him, which irritated him even more.

suddenly he could see miki burst into a fit of laughter. he had never seen her so happy.
riki didn't notice the smile that was growing on his lips.
his short moment of happiness was quickly ended as he realized who was the cause of her happy state.
it wasn't him, it had never been him.
how effortlessly the other guy could make her so happy made him feel angry.
but along with the anger he could feel a surge of sadness.
he was jealous.

just as riki was about to leave the café with his coffee he could hear someone calling for him.

it was her.
and beside her was standing the guy she was sitting with earlier.
riki didn't want to know who he was.
he didn't think he could bear the pain of knowing she had already found someone.

riki gave the the girl a cold stare before making his way out of the café leaving the girl in a confused state.
did she do something wrong?
