Savior (Golden Guard x Reader)

As the wild animal ran in front of you a lasso was thrown around the animals neck and fell while struggling to break free.

You saw your adoptive father Eiran reining in the animal to bring it back into the pen that it came from.

You see Eiran owns and runs a rehabilitation area at his house where he takes peoples animals and palisman, who needs to be rehabilitated back into the world.

"Heyya kiddo," said Eiran
"Hey Eiran, how are you?" You replied

Eiran is a kind looking man, he was dark skinned with black hair and navy blue kind eyes despite the black circles under his eyes showing his lack of sleep.

"I'm well thanks for asking, and your friends are here."
"They are?"
"Yeah, they said something about a plan" he said while putting the animal back into the pen.
"Thanks Eiran"

You walked off to the house. The Mallor estate was a majestic place; it was a mixture between elegance and chaos with a shimmering gold and glass house overlooking the waterfall that give the residents water and vast expanses of animal pastures.

As you entered through the doors you saw two of your friends Luciana and Galleria.

They sat at the kitchen island and once they heard the door opened they turned around and tackled you to the ground.

"Y/N, we haven't heard from you ever since we saw the coven soldiers cutting palistrom trees" mentioned Luci

"Yeah where have you been!" Galleria added while helping you up
Oh, you know around and trying to deal with my curse... and recently i met up with The Golden Guard."

"Wait! THE Golden Guard, as in the emperors right man hand?" Replied Luci
"Yeah..." you say
"Wow... anyways, me and luci came up with an idea to stop Belos's plans, but were going to need more people"

"Yeah, we thought that if we got the help of some more people here in The Forbidden Forest, we might have a chance" exclaimed Luci
"Look, many people here are too scared to stand up to Belos, only a few of us are willingly standing up to him. So the people here are a no go." You noted

"Well, maybe some of the coven leaders don't believe his plans?" Galleria brought forward
"Even if some did, how are we supposed to communicate with them?"
"The Golden Guard?" Luci offered
"Are you nuts he's just going to tell Belos our plan" Galleria questioned
"Didn't Raine do something recently?" You say
"Oh yeah, Raine was the new coven head yet made a commotion, so Y/N you need to find someway or how to get in contact with Raine even if it means sneaking into the castle" Galleria announced

Little did the three of you knew, Eiran heard the whole conversation and said

"I won't allow that"
"Eiran" you say surprised
"You're 16 Y/N. No child should have that kind of responsibility"
"I can handle myself Eiran"
"You might think so, but you are still a child and still growing with power and Belos has years of experience"

"I have my friends, they will have my back"
"In a real situation like that you'll realize that they won't be there to save you" he said while pointing to your friends

"Yes they will!" You yell
"Y/N you don't know that"
"Yes I do, if they are going to fight, then we are going to get others and fight together"
"Thats right!" Both replied

Eiran looked at them with a dark expression and they both went silent.

Eiran looked back towards you and told you "Y/N you shouldn't be anywhere near Belos and his plans, you're too important"
"But if you see me fight, then maybe you'll understand why I need to do this"
"Y/N thats enough"
"Eiran just talk to Zander he'll tell you"
"Why won't you let me do this for you Erika!!" Eiran yelled

You flinched back hearing that name for the first time. Erika was Eirans only daughter, she got killed by Belos for rebelling against him. Its been years since she died and Eiran is still grieving. You also lost family to Belos so you know how he feels.

Erian sighed "I'm sorry, Y/N. I can't lose you as well. But if you need me ill be in my room"

"Y/N were so sorry we shouldn't have talked about our plans here knowing that Eiran-" Luci paused
"Its fine, luci but I think you should leave I want some alone time with him" you explain

They both nodded and left, you walked up to the second floor to where Eirans bedroom was and knocked on his door

"Come in" you heard him say
As you opened the door you saw Eiran sitting on his bed, he seemed like he was crying.

Before you could open your mouth he spoke.

"Y/N, I've been thinking and I think you should go to a witches school"
"School!?"
"Y/N, you can learn more things at a school.
"I'm actually quite happy with what I have"
"You dont really have a choice Y/N. I already talked to the principal and I have the paperwork.."
"What! What school then"
"You're going to a school called Hexside in Bonesborough."

A/N Okay I know this going kinda slow compared to the other hunterxreader books out there but trust me its all important to overall story later. I don't want to sound desperate by saying this, but stick around to see how the story goes. 🙃
