Savior (Golden Guard x Reader)

Petrification

A/N: okay I finally finished this chapter I'm sorry it took me like a month to get this out. School gives me so much stress. Anyways enjoy this chapter

You woke up to loud banging, it's been quite a few days since your last encounter with Raine and Darius.

You blinked open your tired eyes to two guards banging on the metal bars of your cell

"Wake up, Vermin!" Number one spat
"Get your ass up, were moving you" Number two explained
"What do you mean moving? Where are you taking me?"

They both looked at you with a cross expression.

"Oh.." you understood what they meant

They unlocked the cell and grabbed both your arms and started to drag you through the castle as many guards gave you disgusted looks towards you.

They brought you to a cart and took you to the Conformatorium. As they walked you down the hall of petrified people you saw two guards bring in a pedestal with your name on it.

You felt a chill down your back.

As you entered the holding chamber in the Conformatorium they put very heavy chains on you just to make sure you couldn't escape.

Standing with heavy chains was not a fun experience; you felt you were being crushed by sumo wrestlers.

You had to sit to give you shoulders a rest. And what felt like hours, you heard a noise and the door open and close for a brief second.

You were confused on why this happened. Did someone open the wrong door on accident. Aspen sudde lt came into your view.

"Aspen! What are you doing here?" You tried to get up but forgot about the chains and fell straight on your face.

As Aspen came closer you saw he had something in his mouth. He jumped in front of you face and you saw clearly what it was. A letter. You sat up and took the letter out of his mouth and opened it. It read:

GIRL, we DIDN'T ask you to get caught, we saw on our Globe that you got caught and were to get petrified tonight. When we saw that we felt shocked and kinda hurt knowing our friend was going to.... I wont finish that. Eiran is blaming himself for your capture he feels like sending you to Hexside had something to do with it. He wants to come with us to the 'ceremony' despite having us saying no. Y'know he is actually like you, very stubborn and won't take "no" for an answer. Anyways were gonna wait for the petrification to happen so we can step in and save you.

"Oh no, no no no no. Eiran please dont come, I don't know how but Belos knows who you are" you felt tears burning your eyes as you spoke to yourself

You heard the door to the chamber open and you scrambled to hide Aspen and the note. Aspen hid in a dark corner while you shoved the note into your shirt.

As the door opened you saw Eiran enter. You tried to speak but your voice wouldn't work. You were trembling with all the emotions you were feeling.

"Hey, Kiddo"
"E-Erian! What are you doing here? You managed to get out
"When I heard on the news that you were getting petrified. I couldn't stand by and let that happen. I've lost too many people to Belos. I, can't lose you as well"

"Eiran, you don't understand. Belos knows who you are and know that your my guardian" you warned

He looked very shocked, then he dropped his head and you swear you saw a look of guilt in his eyes.
