38- Fuck You

Devin's POV

"What are you doing you're about the walk the stage in 5 minutes!?" Rowan yells standing with the guys who are all looking at me in amusement.

Alessandro and his secret not so secret brother, Carter, are here along with the pretty eyed twins, Matteo and Simon.

And it warms my heart that they all came. These guys been like my family over the years. They all visit and checked up on me, unlike somebody, but I'm not pointing fingers.

Stuffing the last of my confetti cupcake in my mouth, "I was just getting a snack." I voice muffled from the cupcake.

"Is this really their valedictorian?" Carter tilts his head pointing at me.

I met him a year ago when he came with Ales to visit me at Simon's, and we automatically became friends. And what friendship isn't built off insults and teasing?

But that was after we hooked up of course. It was a one time thing, and we decided it was best to be friends, since I'm still in love with someone else, but now we just joke about it.

Look at us we're best friends, even if he doesn't want to admit, but regardless our relationship is strictly platonic besides a little flirting here and there, but nothing serious.

I swallow the rest of my cupcake, "You have no room to talk when you can only be nicknamed by a moving vehicle." I wipe my hands off walking towards them.

He crosses his arms, "And where's your boyfriend?" He looks around the auditorium.

My jaw drops and I take a step closer to him, "Tough talk for a guy who's search history could be a porn site." I cross my arms looking up at him.

"Bold of you to assume I watch porn when I could just get the real thing."

I furrow my brows in disgust, "Not with a face like that." I retort.

Carter looked similar to his brother, same pink lips, tan skin, dark brown hair, deep dimples, but his eyes were hazel instead of green. He was really attractive, but I'd never admit that to him.

"Funny coming from you." He cocks his head.

I shrug, "There was a reason why my eyes were always closed." I replied smugly.

Carter laughs wrapping his arm around my neck, pulling me into a hug, "I can always count on you to humble me huh, Rosa?"

"It's actually getting tiring, especially with that big ego of yours. I should get paid." I complain breaking the hug.

He pulls out something from his pocket, "Here's a 100 dollars." He hands me a 100 dollar bill.

"Nice doing business with you." I laugh putting it in my bra.

Simon claps his hands, "Alright, let's get Ms. Valedictorian to the stage."

Everything was a blur as soon as I stepped on stage, I don't even remember what my speech was about. To be honest I was just winging it, but I do remember something about a cow.

Not sure how that relates, but I do know at the end of my speech and I got my diploma the guys were cheering for me, standing up out of there chair giving me a round of applause; I almost wanted to cry.

When we were all dismissed I walked out of the auditorium and to the front of the building where all the guys were waiting for me.

As soon as I stepped through the double doors I was bombarded with arms wrapping around me and all the sudden my feet were off the floor.
