<From the bottom of my heart, I don't give a fuck>

|Jadesola|

BANG! THE office doors behind me shut close as I strode to the lobby, my heart thudding. A certain feeling of exhilaration flooded through my very being with each step I took.

C'est magnifique, Jade. Bravo!

My brows pinched into a frown, I hunkered down on the office chair as I strived to control my racing pulse. I was not bothered. I totally wasn't!

But my trembling fingers, their tips white now that all my fury had evaporated, belied the fact. I was disturbed, a notch scared even. It was not everyday one saw a personal assistant pour a glass of wine over her boss's head. Even if the said boss in question deserved it and more.

A hiss streamed out of my lips, the fiery embers of my heart inflamed as I recalled all that jerk had done.

First, how dare he decide he could rouse me up early in the morning and drag me to a whole other country altogether? Second, order me to carry a ton full of luggage and threaten me as well during the process? Then, the one which had loosened the string barely containing my anger, clean up the mess someone else made? As his what? His slave?!

Damn him! If he thought I would keep quiet and take it all, stomaching down every stupid rule of his, then he was obviously deranged. Mad. Lunatics like him were not meant to roam around, rather they were to be caged in a psychiatric hospital, the key thrown away and hidden forever.

Retrieving my phone out of my purse, I decided to inform Chloe, give her the heads-up that I would soon be back to the trenches. I sure as hell had made my bed, I might as well lie in it and prepare for the storm that would follow.

Within minutes, the storm came in the form of a tall, gorgeous man in all his infuriated glory, his eyes glinting with a deadly intensity as he glared at me.

Here we go again, I rolled my eyes inwardly.

"Jadesola?!" My name came out in a roar as he stalked to where I sat, frame trembling in rage.

I replied in a wry voice," Not miss anymore, hmm?"

"You!" He pointed a finger at me, his jaw ticking. A step more and he would be directly within my line of sight.

"Me!" I gasped in mock surprise. Once he came fully in view, I blew my cheeks out—a frantic bid to quell the mirth that threatened to well out of me at the amusing of him.

Needless to note, he appeared bedraggled. The wine had stained his immaculate white shirt a dirty brown, his hair tangled up in its sticky juices and streaks of dried liquid criss crossed his striking face. A face that was marred in a dangerous look as he glowered at me, brows merged together in a frown.

There was no helping it. I just couldn't contain the mirth in so I laughed out loud, clutching my mid-rib as I did so.

A snarl contorted his face, tone wintry. Cold. "It's not funny. Do you know what you just cost me? A million dollar contract. Fuck!"

My response was to shrug my shoulders in a nonchalant manner as I crossed my legs and resumed texting Chloe.

That must have piqued the anger festering in him because the next thing I knew, he was dragging me off to God knows where. Thank goodness, I had managed to snag my purse away with me.

"Leave me the fuck alone." I struggled, seeking to shrug his hands off me, but the damn dude wouldn't budge. He held on tight, the rough skin of his palms, clamping even further onto my wrist.
